BCBCS is still alive in LoCo...
Backyard Rye has been super hard to find
4-pack limit. Head on down.
BCBS & BW .... $8.99 per bottle ... limit one each
Rodman's got in BCBCS and BW this morning. 1 bottle limits of each @ $8.99.
You're talking about sterling, right? Don't want to drive for no reason. Thanks!
I am indeed.
Breaking up a 4 pack for limits... then charging 8.99. Sorry that's a bit ridiculous. Sounds like Perfect Pour style
Hopefully it survives until after work.
Part of me wants to hope they are simply trying to make sure everyone who really wants it gets a taste - at the same time that would be a nice cover to price gauge.
Just got back from Total Wine/Corridor in Laurel, looked like they had gone through about 2 cases each of BCBS and BCBW, with 1 case of BCBS and 2 of BCBW left. 21.99 for BCBS and 17.99 for BCBW. Going quick.
Rodman's has got a 2 bottle limit on Coffee, Barleywine, and Regular. $9/each bottle...
They HAD Backyard (at normal $19.99 price), but it's all gone now I think.
Not before I got one; all it took was pissing off a few drivers on Wisconsin Ave and making a couple illegal turns.
Called Sterling, they are out, Laurel had a few 4 pks of BCBS and BW 15 min ago
WF Clarendon said they still had a good amount of BCBS.
Cindy's in Elkridge with 2 cases of regular. 4.5 cases left at Pine Orchard. Jason's had some regular too. Gotta ask for it.
Perfect Pour is sitting back and laughing at everyone selling out, while they change their price stickers from $10 a bottle to $12 a bottle, to....
so no coffee in MD yet?
Sons of bitches...
No confirmed sightings of Rye or Coffee in MD to the best of my knowledge
No coffee at Sterling TW.
Next years Barleywine isn't as good as this years barleywine.
I really wish we could get some confirmation as to if coffee is coming to maryland/baltimore area.
TW Laurel said they do not expect any coffee or backyard, and that they were lucky to get what they did. Doesn't bode well for the rest of the area.
Westover Market got BCBS, BCBCS and Backyard today. I didn't ask about the pricing of the coffee or standard but I'm sure it was a lot. I did begrudgingly buy backyard at 26.99 for the bottle. TW Springfield and Alexandria still have standard, but who doesn't. They do have WC Moo Hoo, Southern Charred Double Bastard, Crime, Punishment, and Smoked Porter with Vanilla Beans though!
Backyard is already done at Westover... Damn! they do have another case of coffee for $26.99/4-pack with no limits. So pricey.
Who is "They"? Westover or TW Springfield/Alexandria?
That's actually not a bad price. I just dropped $27 at WF Clarendon for BCBS. Paid $22 at TW Sterling. Also paid $12 for two bottles of coffee at WF Reston.
I guess not, still seems high. They have a ton of BCBS on the floor, but it's $30/4-pack.
Did you get the coffee at WF Reston today? Just wondering if it's worth a shot giving them a call at this point.
Not high at all, prices have varied across the country from low 20s all the way up to thirty.
Wahhhhhhh I had to pay $3 extra over somewhere else, but wait! You actually had a chance to buy it.
Ha, thanks for the perspective reality check
Please re-read..."no limits", it's worth the extra 3 bucks to be able to by 2 4-packs vs. 1 bottle for $9 bucks.
Got it yesterday -- it's all gone now. Best bet going forward is probably Norm's -- they told me they expect some on Friday. I still think the Wine Cabinet in Reston could get some, but it's a long shot.
Yeah that's what I was figuring. And to think it crossed my mind about dropping by there yesterday too... did you happen to know if they still had any of the regular left?
They didn't get any regular. Believe that shit? That's why I had to "run an errand"* today at work. TW Chantilly might still have some regular.
*Pick up another pack of BCBS at WF Clarendon.
Good looking out C20, thanks man
I paid $18.99 for Coffee at Total Wine. Minus a $1 off coupon. So $27 does seem high.
Just saw one case of coffee left at WM. It is expensive as others said (26.99) but it is there.
Rodmans on Wisconsin is out. Got last bw and coffee single bottles.
