Just got back from Old Line Wine in MD and they got 2 cases of BCBS, BCBW, and BCBCS. Limit one bottle per person per variant and $8 a bottle...

My ass and my wallet hurt more than they should for that. I only spent $40 for two 4 packs of BCBS last year...

The 1 bottle a person thing is such bs for sure. I get 1 4 pack a person, but 1 12oz is ridiculous!

Tell me about it. I didn't realize mules were needed for BCBS.

Wine specialist in dc on 20th has bcbs and the barleywine. The bw is in the cooler, a few packs there, and some bcbs on the corner shelf. The rye is 86d.

Any word on any variants on the Eastern Shore of Virginia (preferable more northern)? I'd be willing to make a trip down there for the right loot...Not sure what the selection is like down there, but I imagine they'd be less likely to get the variants than those of us north of them.

I just went out for dinner at Lost Dog in Dunn Loring, walked in the door and they had a big floor display of BCBS! I picked up a 4pk of Coffee for $19.68 and then a bomber of Backyard Rye for $19.99! w00t! Still lots left!

Limit 1 bomber and 1 4pk per person.

Wegmans in Fairfax had 2 cases of regular BCBS on the floor as of 6 pm. One 4 pack per person request taped to the stack, $22.99 each.

I ended up getting one 4 pack there, plus another 4 pack (and a 4 pack of Coffee) at the Fair Lakes Whole Foods earlier this week. I wish I could have snagged a bottle of the barleywine, but oh well.

Or, tell my man how much it cost so he can ridicule you for paying a higher price than he paid at TW. Did you know he had a $1 off coupon? He's only said so a few times in this thread. He also said it's foolish to buy the BW when the Central Waters BW costs less. Sorry, bro -- at this point -- him asking how much someone paid comes across as a little insincere.

You guys are right, my bad Smaka. i dont know him very well and did not keep up with whole thread to read between the lines. Can you tell I am a little frustrated over missing being able to grab some of these as they come out? Anyway, carry on and I will keep my mouth shut about BCBS for a bit, haha. Cheers!

Hey arsehole, where do you see ridicule in this statement? Stop reading what you will into statements.

I paid $18.99 for Coffee at Total Wine. Minus a $1 off coupon. So $27 does seem high.

And sorry, but it does seem a bit ridiculous that Anheiser Busch is charging nearly double what Central Waters charges for more or less the same beer. And privileged foolish idiots are paying those prices!

I mean it's just BEER. These special release bullshite fiascos and threads like this really, really leave a bad taste in my mouth regarding the craft beer community.

Hey, dude -- if you're still looking for BCBS, the Wine Cabinet in Reston is scheduled to get some today. They will often put some to the side if you ask, so you could call when they open, and maybe pick it up later in the day. Don't know how much they're getting, and it's a bit unclear if they're getting any BCBSC or BY.

Look everyone... I rarely participate in these constant where is beer X and how much is it threads...

Often though i would group email people who are posting in these threads and just tell them, and let them pass on the info if they want.

If you want to sit around and bitch about the difference in prices, which probably amounts to bus fare then you probably should consider some other hobby/past time.. or function instead of salivating over stuff like a bunch of children.

Insult me when I am actually doing you a favor.. how nice...

Tell you what... next time I find something that peopel are clamoring for I wont say anything. Heck ill just buy it all to piss you off.

In fact I even take some of these purchases to bottle shares, as many of the watychers and people in this thread will even attest.

Its just beer, calm the f down. And stop acting like a raving lunatic cause when you walk into a store with your pokemon obsseiveness and a backpack to only cherry pick nobody takes you seriously.

Chill out and have a beer, there's many good ones out there ya know

Heck I might be out this afternoon shopping... like I do.. every... day.. i might see something.

Seriously though I am not surprised these hunt threads get tossed, the should just be done through conversations, and ecspecialligy when you are dickering over prices. Personally I wish every forum section got rid of them particularly the price stuff because its so meaningless.

Oh happy hunting everyone by the way, and yeah I am a nice guy.. cheers!

As someone who doesn't have an unlimited supply of money to spend on beer (but who has some), I find the posts about pricing to be very helpful.

I agree, pricing is definitely helpful. Just say where it is, and how much. Then we can all be friends and go raid Churchkey.

Just an FYI: even though it doesn't say it on the menu, it is 2012 coffee. There is no 2013 coffee draft.

I can't believe it made it this long. The event was on Tuesday and I had my fair share ;-)
