Deschutes Eyeing Asheville?

    If he was talking about NC, VA, or SC making solid IPA like the west coast style only in recent years, he'd be mostly right maybe. But between Trillium, Treehouse, Hill Farmstead, and several more to the north, it would be a huge mistake to say the east is behind the west in IPA innovation. It sounds like he's saying the West did it first, so we'd be a great help in catching you guys up. Whatever. Competition is good, come to Asheville. Though don't take credit for the beer innovation that is already happening here too.
