    I'd guess about $100.00 minimum

"hybrid cider-beer made with wood-pressed Fuji apples, roasted faro, cayenne peppers and fresh cilantro,"

Just does not sound good to me at all. Can't imagine getting through one bottle let alone a case. Course you never know, DFH has surprised me before.

i am imagining at least $120 for that case, but it will not see the day of light in RI. Really missing them since they pulled out about a year ago. Sam! Come back to RI!

There will be a lot of abstract built into that price, for sure.

I would never buy a case, but I'd be down for a bottle.

EDIT: Or I guess I would have to buy the whole case if I wanted it since it sounds like it comes as a package?

These estimates are much lower than I thought. I already told my wife that I was going to be spending $200 when it came out (that way there is no argument when I do). 5 of the bottles will probably sit, but I am such a fan boy for 3030 that its worth it to me for some reason.

If its under 200 spend the difference on more beers!

Had it at the Brewpub last weekend as part of the WOCAW; not a fan.

If it were one of my favorite bands, hell yeah I'd pony up some serious coin for a DFH collaboration project. I'm just a casual deltron fan though. Label was just released and it definitely plays homage the debut's cover. Hoping to somehow land a bottle when its released...

I've never even heard of Deltron, but I'd never turn down an opportunity to try a new Dogfish Head brew.

I had it at the Brewpub in Rehoboth back in February, expecting to hate it. It really was pretty decent. Not a lot of cider notes to it, mainly witbier influenced notes is what I took away from it. Would be a nice bottle to split with friends for shits and giggles.

I'm much more into the concept here than the beer. The beer sounds like another one of their crazy world mixtures that I don't terribly care for...

Perhaps I grossly underestimate the DFH hysteria, but 9000 cases at $100 or so seems awfully ambitious for such an under the radar artist. Deltron 3030 was an awesome album, but definitely never broke through to the mainstream, and I can't imagine its overlap with the craft industry is *that* big. Single bottles of the Pearl Jam beer still linger, and think about how enormous they are in comparison, plus those are a lot less money.

Also, I would think some of these are going to get splitup, no? Or I guess at the very least they should be pretty easy to trade for - it doesn't seem like a beer anyone would really want 6 of.

Lol, don't give a shit about the beer but exclusive Deltron remixes on wax is pretty awesome. Not about to drop 100+ on that tho

I'm pretty excited about this personally. From a music standpoint, I love that Del is even on DFH's radar. And from a culinary standpoint, I suspect that the flavors will pair well - just hoping it matches my expectations when being introduced as a beer/cider hybrid. I am not a collector of vinyl, but it definitely won't be hard to split the cost of the case with my closest buds.

I tried the first incarnation of Positive Contact at the Brewpub and it was great. That was before they added in so much cider. Still super excited to split this with my brother. I am expecting a price tag close to $200. In my opinion the original album is the best hiphop album of all time. I was hesitant about them making another bc I didn't want to see it fall short of my expectations, but they put 6+ years into the album... so I am hoping for something amazing.

waiting to see if this really is the headscratcher business move that it seems to be...

i hope to try a bottle, but there's no way i'd buy a case (there's no way i'll buy a bottle if it's $20 or above). re: the music, lol at spending $100 to hear a remix. i'll try this instead, thanks.
