I live down in Frederick, MD. Haven't seen NN on shelves in Frederick for about 3-4 weeks at least. Just in the last 3 days, shipments came in mass quantity to 2 different liquor stores in our area (didn't see it in neither had it when it was originallly released). Is this old NN getting passed around to different liquor stores or is it fresh batch still being made up in Hershey? I noticed a big difference in NN between fresh and just a few weeks old. Spectacular new, only so/so aged a month+.

Haha, I was in the Towson area on Saturday, and saw (literally) ten cases on a cart off to the side of the floor. Didn't check the date, though.

You're fired from drinking beer for not liking NN. j/k but seriously this is a ridiculously good beer that I've had the pleasure to drink for the past 7 years from what i can remember. Had it on bottle, draft and cask and all 3 are different and amazing and nowhere near overly hopped. To answer the OP yeah Troegs made a crapload more NN this year because they have a much bigger system at the new brewery location in Hershey. They also made it later and made a second batch just as big as the first. Typically New Jersey gets its own batch and with the bigger system there was plenty available. My store actually got it delivered 5 weeks in a row with 3 different batch dates so they made several batches. Still have about 10 cases which is pretty good considering we've gone through 50 maybe already. I can't personally drink even a whole 6-pack of the same beer because I get bored but NN is the exception(also on my 4th Zombie Dust so we'll see if I make it to the 6th without trading it away.)

There's no more in Northern VA. I think 3/20 was the last bottling date. I've got a few left in the fridge that are still drinking well.

Stores here have been filled to the gills with NN, I am not sure I'd notice an influx.

We got our last shipment on 3/23. By the next week, it was gone. They either made less or it sold out WAY more quickly than normal (most likely the latter with demand etc etc). We had to do limits on it the first two times we got our allotment.

That stuff you are getting is most likely old. Not bad, just old.

I wouldn't be surprised if they did make more this year, after all they are in a new town/ bigger facility.

    Cheers

I had my fill. Glad to have enjoyed 2 sixers, but I'm good until next year.

Yeah, I'll good until next year as well, but I was just curious if this was a 2 month old warehouse stash that is getting released now around my area, or actually a fresh batch coming out of Hershey. It was hard to find any around Frederick in March. Over the weekend it was stacked up in 2 different stores in Frederick. I bought a 12 pack back in March and slowly worked threw it over 4-5 weeks. It didn't seem as tasty towards the end but the first couple were amazing. Maybe my pallet fried out to the taste or maybe the flavoring dies quickly with age. I'll check the bottle date next time I'm in the store. If anyone else can check dates before me please post your findings.

Nugget Nectar was bottled until the very end of March and kegged until the first week of April.

You are not seeing "warehouse stash" - we shipped and packaged until April 8th or so.
