I just saw 2 DL '13 (pre) trade for 2 Cherry Ryes.

Are these the kinds of things DL can pull after DLD?....what does DL usually pull after DLD?

I just didnt think '13 DL would pull Cherry Rye that's all.

    Cheers!

Personally, I'd say DL for Cherry 1:1 is pretty fair. I much prefer Cherry to DL, but it's certainly not an unreasonable trade.

I dont know... ~2000 bottle count ever as opposed to 24,000 anually? Sounds like cherry wins. But as shown in the op, some people really love some dark lord

Is the number for Cherry really that low? I thought it was more like 10k, but I never saw any kind of official bottle count so I was just guessing. If that's the case then I definitly agree with you.

Where did you get bottle count on a Bourbon County beer? I have a hard time believing it was only 2,000 as GI has a pretty big footprint and it was not insanely hard to come by.

Cherry Rye vs. Darklord is like watching the school bully fight your abusive stepfather. You kinda just hope that they kill one another so you can live in peace.

2000 bottles of Cherry? no way, if we are using November 2012 stats it was far less than that, 52 cases as I recall. On an unrelated note, people have been super dilligent because 337 people have listed it as a got, solid 17% of the bottles are up for trade.

Yeah, I know of at least 4-5 places in PA that got a case (and another 1-2 places in NJ), and I can't believe that the Philly 'burbs would've gotten 10% of the overall allotment.

GI doesn't put bottle numbers on any of their beers. Rare is the only bottle that was numbered.

I got confused about this when I first got King Henry. I think the numbers are just a time stamp or whatever. I had two with the same number.

Definitely more than 2,000 bottles of Cherry Rye. Indiana got around 20 cases. My store got two of them. Obviously Chicago got the bulk of it. Maybe Vav can chime in and say what Chicago got.

Definitely trades for less than that. I replied to that ISO within minutes and the OP had already received multiple responses.
