Do you like every style of beer, or are there some you will not drink?

I was wondering if there is anyone out there that likes the majority of beer styles. while I prefer IPA, DIPA, Stouts, high ABV Porters and lagers I can't bring myself to like sours and saisons.

I had a Westbrook Gose last week or sometime around then. I didn't finish it. Now I'm not trying any Gose brews anytime soon.

I thought that I liked all beer styles until I tried a Flemish style ale......didn't like it one bit. In fact I thought it was pretty awful. However I do love me some ipa and apa.

As a rule, I don't have any specific style I avoid, but there are some beer types that give me pause. Wheats (American style), gimmicky fruit beer, pumpkin ales are beers I won't try blind as long as there are better choices.

I've tolerated most beers up until last week when I had a Pumking. I'm still shuddering about the terrible taste of that beer. Pumpkin beets ate now off my list.

This or similar questions have been posted quite a few times now, i've never had a scotch ale that to me did not taste like pure alcohol, Also just not into pumpkin beers, I see the appeal but not for me. Belgian quads are very hit or miss, some I find to be rich ,complex, and delicous, others I personally found to taste overwhelmingly like alcohol

I like most styles but hate beers that are overloaded with coriander

According to the BA database, there are 20 styles I haven't had, but generally speaking I just do not like Belgian styles. Just do not like coriander, banana, and clove notes. I'm also not keen on barleywine. But ... I do appreciate good beers and I will drink any style and appreciate it for what it is.

I try any beer, any style. I know I'll probably like most IPAs, stouts, porters, goses, sours, etc and know I won't like most lagers, browns, Belgium IPAs etc. But each beer is unique and it may become the lager, brown, Belgium IPA that I do like or the IPA, porter, stout that I don't like. Variety is indeed the spice of life - try them all with an open mind. Drink local and drink often!

    Like all? No.

    Will I try all? Yep.

Do I like any that I tend 'not to like'? Sure.

Just as I don't care for every beer brewed in the styles I prefer, there's no reason why I can't try something like a sour or fruit beer that I'll man up to and admit that it's damn tasty. I'm a creature of habit but willing to experiment and more than willing to give proper due to those surprises that do appear every now and then...

I've found beers in nearly every style that I've liked (the styles that I've tried at least, haven't had some of the more obscure ones- looking at you Happoshu). However, as with anybody on here, there are certainly styles I prefer.

Can't get into brown ales or American strong ales.. I like very few ambers and barleywines.

I don't drink lambics or goses. They just don't give want I want from beer. Also, I have never been able to bring myself to drink sour or rye beers, because I know I don't like those tastes.

Pilsners... the only pilsner I've had that I've enjoyed is Two Women from New Glarus, which just confirmed the fact that New Glarus can make any style into something I enjoy. Even Stone's 17th Anniversary wasn't much to my taste as a pilsner IPL...

Only two styles I can't get down with: Smoked beers and Oktoberfests. That being said, if there's a light amount of smoke I can tolerate or even like the beer and the only Marzen I've had that I truly enjoyed was Great Divide's Hoss but it's brewed with rye which I love so it almost doesn't count. Oh and Saaz hops are the only hop varietal I absolutely don't like. If it's blended in with other hops I can dig it but if it's only or mostly Saaz (i.e. Lagunitas Pils and Great Divide Nomad), I can't stand it.

wheat beers are seldom the first I grab if given a selection, but I do still grab them.

sours and saisons are a no go. I even don't like cantillons. That's a definite sign that style is not for me.

I'm not a fan of many Amber Ales, but almost ironically, I really like Red Ales. I have never found a Black IPA that I have liked either. Most other styles are good with me.
