Does anywhere around you still have KBS on tap?

My local bottle shop only got one keg of the stuff and it has been on tap for the entirety of April and still hasn't sold out yet. Personally I thought the bottles were better than the draft this year. The place near me only offers 16oz pours of the KBS and they are just under $12 before tax. I am just somewhat surprised this is still available on tap considering the same store sold all their bottles in like 2 days

Yeah several around here. Saw it in Hot Springs AR this past weekend and was going to get it for my morning coffee fix, but they didn't open until 11 and it was 10:40, so I moved on. There is a place in Houston that has a great relationship with Founders and he tends to have this on tap pretty regular and keeps old vintages in the back.

I would love to try a flight of old vintages of KBS for a vertical test but I guess that would require tapping all the kegs at once which I doubt he would do. It seems KBS was much, much, more available this year than it has been in the past.

I saw plenty of KBS bottles on the shelf yesterday when I went up to one of my stores. He had a whole row of 4 packs in the cooler, some bombers, and even singles.

I believe it's on tap a few places near me for the Kentucky Derby this year. Although this typically happens every year for the Derby, not just this year.

I guess my question was more is it normal for a single keg of the stuff to last over a month? I'm guessing lots of stores get multiple kegs the place I am talking about only got one.

Stores or bars? Bars around here typically have KBS on tap for awhile. I imagine they don't have multiple kegs, but who knows.

I don't know of any stores that have kegs of KBS here, but then again, I've never asked.

The place I am talking about is a bar and bottle shop. They sell beer on tap you can drink there or bring home in a growler as well as selling bottles. The don't allow growlers of KBS though, pints only. It just surprises me it lasted this long because like I mentioned the same place sold out of bottles in the first 2 days. I was there when they first tapped the keg a month ago and they expected in to sell out within a week but obviously it didn't work out that way.

Eureka! restaurant and bar near me still has their 9oz. pours for $13. No thanks!

Pretty much all of the Trader Joe's around still have 4-packs for $21.99.

My guy up the street had KBS on tap for 3 months. I was there in December when he tapped it, at the end of March it was still available. Guess people are not buying it as much. I have not checked to see if its now gone but who knows it may be lingering still. I agree with an above post, I thought the bottle was way better than from the keg.

$13 is insane for a 9 oz pour of KBS.

I bought a 4 pack of Creeper (one of the highest rated limited release Double IPA's in Ohio) for that much

I still have it in bottles all over the place. It wouldn't surprise me at all to see it on draft somewhere. It's not the hyped beer it once was. Such is the way of things.

Must be that KBS still has customers in michigan, because I haven't seen it in stores at all other than a couple bombers a week or so ago.

No but my local store has had cases of the bombers for weeks now. I bought a 4pack a month ago and now the bombers are sitting.

I think they shortchange you guys honestly. I don't know why they do that, but I've heard complaints from Michigan customers on Facebook that it's hard to find KBS.

One local taproom just polished one off over the weekend. Bottles still available around here, at least one store still has a stack of cases.
