I thought 61 was alot better on tap than in the bottle, though I still like it in the bottle.

    I would take Burton>90>61>60. Haven't had the 75 yet.

Not even close. 90 is the best of the three in terms of flavor and overall enjoyment. 60 is a decent IPA and 75 min is just less drinkable than the 60 and less flavorful than the 90. But hey, drink whatever you want!

60! 90 is a bit too sweet and 75 is just a little wierd with that maple.

All 3 beers are fantastic, but I have to caution you on the 75...I have never had a migraine hangover as bad as when I foolishly got gutter-staggering pissed on this.
If you are going to drink any significant quantity, go for the 60.

I thought it would taste more wine like than it did, esp since it has the purple hue to the color. But I got more delicious hop notes than then grape must. This is one of the beers that the BA user descriptions didn't really match up to what I was tasting.

But definitely one of those beer I think more people should try - though not sure how common it is to come by - I don't see it that often at my store.

I have to admit, Burton Baton was very, very good. The bar that is serving the 75 minute, they only have the 25.4 ounce bottles. Since I am traveling alone, I am wondering if they will allow me to sit with my Iphone, watch some baseball on their big screens, and have myself a party with the big bottle. I'm thinking it should be about 1 1/2 hours or more before I'm done with the entire bottle. I only have a short walk back to my lodging. Hopefully they have some good eats to soak up some of the abv's.

I don't like 60 at all, but I love the 90 and 75. The maple in the 75 smooths it out, in the same way that Aprihop smooths out an IPA without giving too much sweetness, or apricot flavor. I get maple in the 75, and I absolutely love it, but it in no way over powers the beer.

75 is delicious on tap, but I won't pay the price for the bottle. I get close enough making my own blend of 90 and 60 at home.

Burton Baton is still the best though.

I'd call the 75min DFH's "Alchemy Ale." Not overly boozy, not overly hoppy, but not sessionable either. Works you, and leaves you satisfied all at the same time! Feel the Stoke of the Baton!

90, about ten years ago. Honestly I don't think it is a palate changing sort of thing here, but I liked it better about 6-10yrs ago. Seems very different now.

61 is fantastic with food, as is the new Rosabi. By themselves they're pretty good but with the right food everything just pops more.

I think @SamCalagione is gunning for that James Beard award with these beers that are just so much better with food than by themselves.

Just my .02 but I really like IPAs/DIPAs AND also enjoy wine...I thought sixty-one was AWFUL.

In short: piss or get off the pot.

With your love of stouts, you liking 90 minute doesn't surprise me. It's got a very malty-sweet flavor profile.

Fresh 90 on tap is one of the few really enjoyable DIPAs out there. The higher alcohol balances the sweetness much better than the 60, which is a bit messy to my taste. 75 is a bit different, definitely worth trying, although in the end I think the 90 is the most enjoyable.

75 is fantastic, and I like to keep 60 in the fridge for post lawn cuttings. But 90 minute is the king imho

I love 75 Minute, it's the perfect mix of the 60 and 90 in terms of drinkability and flavor. A fantastic brew that I like way more than 90 and maybe more than 60. 60 to me is just so damn inconsistent in flavor. When it's on, it's freaking mind blowing, but when it's off it's boring as hell. Unfortunately I've had it both ways, with more "offs" than I would like.

The bottle conditioning unique to 75 gives it that silky mouthfeel not found in most IPAs.

    Worth an occasional splurge.

Having had all 3 I would say that the 75 is more in my wheelhouse with the way it's balanced. I like the addition of the maple syrup, but the carbonation on it is just out of control! Even if you pour it super slow it just grows and grows very quickly.
However between the others, I enjoy the 60 more than the 90.
    Enjoy your trip!

If the bar is serving it in bombers, then they damn well better allow you to sit there and drink it :grinning:. I've heard of places that have a 2 drink per person minimum, but I've never heard of a place that has a 2 person per drink minimum.

    All three are great:
60 is the easiest to put down
75 is different, more malt, not as hoppy
90 is my favorite. even better on-tap

Haven't had 75. 61 is one of Sam's sambumbia's, or creations, which didn't tickle my fancy. That said, give me 60, since 90 is always a freakin malt bomb. I've tried a bunch of times mind you, but not hop forward enough for me.

I recently was able to try the 75 minute the other day and I really loved it! But altogether I'd go with the 90 minute. really would like to try the 120 as soon as we get it around my neck of the woods!

How could you chose anything other than 90? Its so solid and when on tap versus most selections that aren't local or at places with a HUGE craft selection I'll always take it. Malty enough to pair with my food and hoppy enough to keep me drinking.
