I don't suspect this will affect too many people reading this, but Heineken USA has issued a recall of select batches of Dos Equis Ambar (yes that's how it's spelled) and Carta Blanca 12 oz. bottles (also contained in "Best of Mexico" and "Beers of Mexico" variety packs.) The bottles may contain shards of glass. Fun! More here
They should just leave it as is and offer an all expense paid trip to the brewery to whoever gets cut. haha No but seriously.
I honestly don't know if that would be a fun trip or a dangerous one. My prejudice is that all points south of the border have huge crime problems, though Rick Bayless manages to have some good times there and makes it out alive, so perhaps not. I imagine the timing on this couldn't be much worse for the brewery, with Cinco de Mayo being only 3 weeks away. At least it isn't their flagship product.
