Not yet—but I can feel the anticipation building... Couldn't ascertain a bottle count from checking the FW page and this thread about it in Beer Releases, but given that it will be a boxed offering (like Parabola/§ucaba), I'm guessing it will (1) be priced @ $15, (2) be available at all the usual spots, and (3) hang around town at least long enough for a three-toed sloth with a reasonable amount of willpower to snag a couple bottles.

Haha yeah good point, Parabola sold out at my work pretty fast, but I was in Chucks the other day and it blew my mind how many bottles are still on the shelf there.

Chuck's seems to have bottles of nearly all limited releases linger but shhhhhhhh...don't tell anybody!

Bifrost was talking about Parabola in the context of FW boxed releases. You expanded that statement to include "nearly all limited releases"—which, BTW, includes Fruet, Sang Noir, Parabola, §ucaba, and probably a bunch more limited beers that are still sitting on Chuck's shelves right now. (I'd include Collage too, but who are we kidding. That one is not limited.)

    Now shhhhhh!

I've heard that Chuck's prices are much higher than most other shops in the area. Truth?

They are generally about 5% higher than somewhere like Whole Foods or Bottleworks. For example Parabola is $15.69 (I think) instead of $14.99 elsewhere. I think Bourbon Abominable was $17.99. Fruet is priced @ $32.59 IIRC. For me it's generally worth it to shop there anyway because Chuck's is so close to my house. Traffic

Double DBA was released last week at FW-Paso. Another BA was at realease and grabbed some for me. It should be landing everywhere soon. If you've never had it before...it's very, very good!

It's here in Portland as well since Tuesday, so it should be reaching Seattle soon.

I squirreled away a few bottles but I probably won't get a chance to taste it soon because I'm about to leave for vacation.

I'm on vacation in Portland and picked up a few...had one tonight after dinner with family and friends, and FW does it again. They know how to turn good beer (DBA) into something special (DDBA).
I'd recommend buying multiples...really interested to see how this one changes over time.

I love Chuck's. Their prices are higher, but they're friendlier and they got like 20 beers on tap (something like that).

And it's apparently on tap there as well, per Twitter. Hope it shows up elsewhere today or tomorrow, as well.

I'm an out of towner with a bu ddy in Seattle. I know you guys don't want me pilfering your beers, but I'd love to get my hands on a Double DBA, Sucaba, and Parabola, in that order. Is this Chuck's joint my best bet? Are there others?
