Looking for restaurants, sports bars, pubs with good beer selections and decent food. Will be near Convention Center (Power & Light District) first week of March. No car, but will taxi is an option. Thanks for any advice.

Flying Saucer in P&L, and Grinders, just south of P&L. Both listed on this site if you want more info.

Thanks. Those were the first two on my list. Was wondering if The Foundry, Beer Kitchen or Waldo's Pizza are worth the 10-20 minute drive?

Westport just south of downtown has lots of great options. Also, not craft related, but if you like really shitty dive bars, Zoo Bar on the east end of P&L is a must.

If you go to Beer Kitchen, get a rez, well depending on the night that is.

Foundry is good for beer but food sucks

If you go down to Waldo, the Swagger is a good place

I liked Waldo's as a lunch option when I was passing through...

Or in Brookside, Charlie Hoopers or Bier Station.

Flying Saucer is right there at P&L.

If you can you gotta stop in and see Brad at Bier Station. Great guy, tons of beer knowledge and 20 taps that rotate frequently, sometimes 2x/day. Beer Kitchen, The Foundry and Waldo Pizza are also great places.
