It would be better in bombers. In MI we'll be lucky to see bottle limits of 2.

Look on the bright side. That's 2 more ounces than a limit of 1 bomber!

Dragon's Milk doesn't get a ton of love here on BA. As noted above, if you don't have to wait in line or trade for it, it's not good enough. DM is probably the beer that got me hooked on BA stouts and craft beer in general. At one time it was my "expensive beer for special occasions only" lol. Looking at where I'm at now, I only wish they all were as cheap as DM. Sure, I wouldn't rank it up there with BN or BCBS or probably even BBPT5, but I can get bombers of it at Costco 365 days of the year for $6.50 (well, any day Costco is open). It's on every corner for slightly more. I still have one every now and then and don't by any means think it's a bad beer.

So I'm confused on the variants. The raspberry was out in bombers (not 12 oz) months ago. It seemed to be readily available with no limits. It seems I've still even seen it on the shelf recently. Is there another release coming in November on all the variants in 12 oz? My thought was again, not a bad beer, but the raspberry was so faint it was almost undetectable to me. Although others in my tasting could definitely tell the difference. So maybe it's my pallate. I am looking forward to the other variants though.

Raspberry bombers limit one here in SW Ohio and sold out in hours, and I loved it (tons of raspberry to me).

Love Raspbeer in my sours. Putting it in a BA stout like DM sounds great.

Two variants were released last year in bombers. Toasted chilies came out in the spring and Raspberry came out in mid December. This year, all 4 variants will be released at the same time in November. I assume that these are going to be separate 4-packs. I mean, it's not possible (logistically? legally?) that they'd put all 4 variants in a single pack, is it?

As for availability, it totally depends on location. I couldn't make the December release, but went the next day and was told that their entire stock sold out in a couple of hours. When it hit distro, all of my usual spots seemed to sell out the day it arrived, even with limits. It was on tap for about a month, so I didn't bother trying to track it down. I would like to snag a few bottles this year for aging, though.

Had this about a year ago & thought that it was really good; nice coffee without being overpowering

Just wondering about packaging approval, or is that only an issue for the actual labels on the bottles? Guess I could have expressed that better.

Oh yeah, I wasn't making fun. Actually, was curious about this. I don't think its illegal though, because there are mixed packs of a lot of things. Plus, Schmoz does a mix six pack.

I'm really hoping this one is a lot better than the chili and raspberry versions. Both were drain pours for me. The chili version was a lingering heat that never went away, the raspberry version tasted like they didn't use real raspberries but some type of syrup/concentrate. Haven't had Dragon's Milk recently, maybe I should revisit it...
