Drake's Aroma Coma coming in August

    Per their newsletter, a very short update:

    This year... the Coma doesn't stand alone. We're shakin' things up.
    Coming in early August 2012, Aroma Coma and Aroma Prieta.
    Sister beers, entirely different hops. Stay tuned.

    Loved Aroma Coma and very interested to see what the Prieta is like.

    This sounds awesome. Any idea about distribution for these? Has Aroma Coma been distro or brewery-only in the past?

    Any info on what hops are used in both? I never got a chance to try coma the last time it came out.

    I've been sworn to secrecy. I can tell you this much....It will be glorious!!!

    Aroma Coma was distributed. Don't know how far it made it though.

    Prieta in Spanish is referring to something dark or black. My guess is that's going to be a black IPA.

    I enjoyed Aroma Coma when I had it last year. Hopefully I can get some this year and try the Prieta as well.
