Are you trying to tell me that in the near future, cases of Heady Topper will be covered by insurance?!:grinning:

I remember reading somewhere that a traditional use for hops flowers/buds was as a sleep aid - put under the pillow which is weird too. Have a book on "folk remedies" and there's about a half page of hops-related stuff. I'd much rather drink my daily allotment in a nice, malt-based beverage!

Yeah - the eyedropper thing always amazes me with these tinctures and extracts.

No, sorry, your insurance doesn't cover name brands. Your local pharmacy will be happy to issue these[IMG]

Coincidence that another controversial medicine, cannabis, is +90% genetically identical? I think not!

If you drink 1/2 gallon of DIPA per day you are pretty much guaranteed not to die of cancer or diabetes.

nah, you'd totally lose weight if you ate a giant bowl of hops every day. Not in beer form, however....

The extraction process is actually way cool. High pressure carbon dioxide so it stays liquid at around 100 degrees C. The equipment is freakin awesome, hardly makes a sound, very good yields, and no toxic solvents. I wonder if any brewers have tried using any?

Well 99% of mouse genes have direct analogues in humans. We're pretty similar, too, right? :grinning:

Not disagreeing, though, I'm totally down with medical marijuana.

Just don't try and drink a Shipyard IPA to fix your diabetes because all the diacetyl in it will give you alzheimers.
