I'm going to be in Beaumont Tx on a business trip Dec 10th - 12th. I am going to drive into Lake Charles and hit up the two stores that are on BeerAdvocate. Any suggestions on bottles that I should pick up? Anyone interested in meeting up for an in person trade?

My honest suggestion would be to drive an extra 1.5 hours or so into Baton Rouge and hit up Calandro's on Perkins. If you have an extra 3-4 hours to spare, it will be well worth your drive. They'll have the best imports, virtually everything that is distributed in LA, and all the limited stuff that's allotted to Baton Rouge, and freshness will likely not be suspect.

Unfortunately, Lake Charles just doesn't seem to have enough dedicated merchants or substantial beer scene currently to find anything that will wow you coming from TX.

    Consider Baton Rouge.

If I wasn't another 1.5 hours past BR, I'd definitely trade with ya.

Thanks for the suggestion. I don't know if that's feasible but we'll see.
