Duclaw is popping up all over the place. Liquor outlet has 3 different beers from them in stock including Sweet Baby Jesus.

Bells and Deschutes haven't entered the state or even announced entering the state yet. Just speculation. Duclaw is popping up in south central and west jersey. Still no distributor for Northeast Jersey

For Bell's you can always hop over the border into Rockland County, NY.

mike, please see the quote above...I believe you are mistaken....just if liquor outlet in boonton has it, does not mean northern nj has it (*boonton having it can be a rare thing...like wine library in springfield having great lakes for years before any north jersey places having it)

Well I dk bud. You asked if they were in north jersey. Boonton has it, and boonton is in north jersey. So I said yes. If you wanted to know if they were in a particular county, why not say so? Kinda weird that they've only been spotted in one store though. Oh, and I've definitely seen them at a few bars too. Tbh can't remember where other than the Stirling hotel tho.

In NJ, duclaw is distributed by Warren Distributors. So that means Warren in Flanders, Hub City in Lawrencville and Warren South in Blue Anchor. Im not sure what their terriory is in NNJ but they are available in Boonton, On tap twice in Montville (Poor Henrys) and once at the Cloverleaf in Caldwell.

Particularly, Growler & Gill in Nanuet, NY has been open for about a year now and operates fairly below radar at present. They have about 7 Bell's beers on the shelves mostly standard offerings but always Two Hearted (Bell's Christmas on tap right now also). Don't recall seeing DuClaw or Deschutes yet. They also have some Crooked Stave, Nebraska, a big line of Bear Republic, some Cigar City and a considerable amount of imports amongst a large beer selection. They have 16 taps and weekly tap takepovers. Food is mehhh but good enough if you want to drink there and snack.

My latest trip there 2 weeks ago yielded a growler fill of Enjoy By ($24) and a bottle of Sweet Repute ($18). A tad pricier than other places but make up for it with selection.

Go on a Friday or Saturday afternoon and couple the trip with a stop at Defiant Brewing Co. for some sick and inexpensive barbeque and great beer......especially if they have Weapons Grade IPA on tap.

There's no distributor that's picking up DuClaw at the moment for the Eastern counties so who knows when that'll get done.

    http://www.warrenbeer.com/wn/home/service-area/

That's basically the part of the state that you can find DuClaw in. And for Bells and Deschutes you'll see a press release from those guys when they enter the state before you see them on shelves. I could see Boulevard hitting NJ shelves before both of them.

I sent an email to bells and Deschutes. Bells was a little vague with the answer, they just they are trying to expand in general. Deschutes says they wont be coming to NJ in 2014, and they are not sure what states for 2015 yet

Clown Shoes and Newburgh are two new breweries already on shelves in NJ.

Clown Shoes has been in NJ for well over 1 year. It's just that they were exclusive with Total Wine. That's what changed.

I don't really consider that in distribution. They do that with a couple breweries.

Makes it dicey making sure the beer is fresh since they don't have a distributor to replace it.
