Any one had one of the older vintages somewhat recently? I was thinking about popping an 02 for the Super Bowl. Obviously I know this beer is probably not getting any better, just wondering what to expect if anyone has had o e recently.

Interested as well. Each vintage has their own very unique qualities. I always thought the mid-2000's were the best. Im wondering if oxidation has taken over most of the earlier bottlings.

LOL...I didn't end up opening it Bill. I got so ticked off at the way that the game started for the niners, it had me in a crappy mood for the rest of the evening. I didn't want to waste the beer when I knew I wasnt in the mood to give it a fair shake. Plus, a buddy who I was planning to share it with didnt end up making it over for the game.

But this thing is coming out soon, no sense it waiting. I will report back to this thread when it happens.
