My work just sent an email asking for people to request time off, and this was one of the events I was hoping to attend again this summer.

I haven't seen Eb's/Chris post any info as of yet but is there anyone in the know about this years event?

I think he posted something on Facebook about the dates. FB is blocked here at work, so I can't confirm.

Room booked, ready to go. Fifth year, I think? Not sure who is cooking this time around, but who's coming up for the dinner & weekend?

I'm assuming tickets won't be for sale until Chris gets back to the US but I'm certainly going again if I can snatch a ticket - I may stick around for 'Chris' Birthday Bash' on Friday too!

Friday and Saturday night for me again this year. I am salivating in anticipation for a Kriek based beer fest.

I think I may have you beat Ruth. Six years for me. When was the Black Albert premier? 2006?

Hope the Belgian crew makes it out again this summer. Perhaps my favorite weekend of the year.

I'm wierd - I save all my DayRunners for years. I was at Eb's in '06 on Weds. the 23rd and Thurs. the 24th, but there was no Belgian Feast that year. Headed off to Portland/Peaks Island after for the remainder of my vacation week. Saw Steve Riley & the Mamou Playboys at LL Bean's outdoor concert series that weekend, too. So this will be my sixth after all. I think the Black Albert release was '07, because Carlo & Urbain were there for the Black Albert vs. Pannepot bar-top sabayon cook off. I have a photo that Jeff Goyette took, with his wife Pam & I as their cooking assistants with the date on it.

I'll definitely be there Friday and Saturday and camping in the back yard. Thursday too if I can blow off work on Friday. Easily my favorite beer weekend of the summer in Maine. Day of the Kriek? I can't wait!

If the Black Albert release was 2007 than this will be my 6 th fest. Yeah I have been to so many of these over the years they kinda all blend together into one guezey haze of a good time. I just know it is ALWAYS a four star affair and is the one fest I cannot miss.

I really hope Christopher, Yves and Carlo and some of the Belgian crew can make it a again this year. It's always great to see these guys state side. I have been so jealous of all there facebook posts from that crazy dinner in Belgium this past week. I have met so many great people at these fests over the years. I cannot reccomend it highly enough.

Thinking of going up Friday to Sunday, never been before. What exactly do you usually need tickets for?

Most stuff is pay as you go. Chris usually has at least 1-2 special events in his basement. In the past I have been to a Gueze lecture with Yves, Stuise tasting with Carlo and a Hair of the Dog tasting with Alan Sprints. You do need tickets for that stuff but they are not buy in advance but rather buy at the bar the day of. It's not the cheapest weekend by any means but totally worth it for the quality.

The ticket I was referring to was for the Belgian feast on Thursday night, last year it was $200.

I'll be there for the dinner, Chris' birthday and the Day of the Kriek. I'm pretty sure this my sixth go round as well. Still the highlight of the year in beer for me. I can't wait!

I'll be heading up for the third time (in 4 legal years), probably for the entire weekend instead of just Saturday night. Nothing beats driving through the White Mountains combined with "camping" and the best beer event of the year.
