Dropping by Mons first?
I'll share beer and you share fillets...
Any chance that those of us who live in Florida and get the limited CCB distro (Pensacola), but live over 7 hours away from Tampa get first dibs at on-line memberships?
Would make sense that online sales be limited to FL residents. At least at first. We are the the ones purchasing CCB brew hence supporting the brewery.
Hopefully we'll have enough to share. Grouper clearly is a fast track to the front of the line, right?
Its def a fast track to whatever we bring to drink and to my grill.
7 hours? i'm making that drive tomorrow just for the hell of it. commit to it!! be here next sunday!!
Damn, did I just get double dog dared?
I think you did. I'm driving 3 and half hours there and back. Make a weekend out of it.
if you can't hang with the big dogs stay on the porch. Or at home as the case may be.
Wonder if my 6 month pregnant wife will mind if I skip out on her birthday to join a beer club 7 hours away in Tampa.
Yeah, I got this!!
I'm not super computer savvy but wouldn't it be hard to limit it to just Florida residents online? Unless when typing information in there wasn't another state besides Florida to use. I still think people would find a way around it by having friends or family members sign up for anyone out of state and then using the trustee.
I'm in! I will be there about 3pm.
is CCB going to give out numbers as people show up or are they not expecting to reach 1000 applicants by Sunday? I have a feeling they will definitely sell out, especially since they are not set to sell the memberships until 5:00 (gives people a chance to get down there). anyhow, i just know the mexican cake release went real well and was curious how CCB was gonna regulate this.
I heard that if its your birthday or you have fresh grouper fillets you get a front spot in line.
Funny you mention it (I've tried to avoid the birthday comment since I witnessed it) but it will be my brother-in-law's birthday and we'll both have grouper. You boys better just ask for sticky notes starting at #03.
If anyone from the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale are driving up for the day to sign up on Sunday, I'd like to tag along for the ride, and can chip in on some beer/gas.
I asked via twitter if they were doing numbers and the answer was no.
fill them out now to save time on Sunday
So, to be sure, the next 5 releases will also be available to the public in limited quantities?
there's really no way to guarantee that yet
That's the day we move to Valdosta.
I'll be headed to Tampa after we unload our moving truck and drop it off. Hoping to convince the wife to come with and join as well.
What's up, moving and then rushing to CCB buddy?
Unlucky coincidence and Valdosta isn't that far, plus plenty of friendly trustees.
Sweet tuba pic, Daniel!
Still looking for a trustee. Let me know if interested can work out details
The pdf sign up sheet had an error on it..anyone have the new link for the correct sign up sheet?
it's been updated so it's the same link
Sunday is my birthday....srs
Well happy birthday, they should bring you a dessert and sing for you!
Thanks! I also get the number 0001 membership
0001 or 1000 makes no difference
or does it............................
it was a joke
Not to beat a dead horse, but my buddy in Tampa is going to be my trustee. I physically can't be there to sign up. Should I fill out the sign-up sheet with my information and designate him as the trustee? Basically I'm going to be visiting the taproom a couple times in the next few months (the trustee is getting married) so I want the discounts!
No. Good luck online.
You have to be there to sign up.
