    Hi all,

South-Atlantic poster here, I am going to spend a few days in Ellicott City and a little time in Annapolis, are there any must visit breweries or bottle shops? Would prefer bottle shops as I will be with wife and toddler, easier to run to a bottle shop then spend a few hours at a brewery. Won't be able to venture to far out from Ellicott City (20mins or so) so I need the short and sweet list. Any advice would be appreciated!

    Thank

breweries - Manor Hill (EC), Jailbreak (Laurel)
bottle shops - Perfect Pour (Columbia). there's a trader joe's in the same shopping center where wife/kid can buy food/snacks. Allview liquors is off 108, close to Manor Hill.

@crow121 beat me to it. Perfect Pour in Columbia is close to you, Prices aren't the best, but it is a bottle shop with a lot of options.

I think there is a restaurant in Columbia with some decent options, don't remember the name.

Manor Hill operates under a weird license and can only have 50 visitors at a time, so make a reservation on their site if you want to check them out. It's definitely worth a visit, especially if it's a nice day. Beautiful space & solid beers.

Ale House Columbia might be worth a shot. Would be a good place to take the whole family for a meal as well. They have a bunch of taps of their own Oliver Brewing and guest taps as well. As well as many bottles.

Victoria's Gastropub in Columbia serves all of the current Manor Hill beers on tap. Both are owned by the same person. Excellent food there as well (a tad pricey but high quality food)

Manor Hill is making outstanding IPAs you can find in cans right now. Citra Spendor, Passionfruit IPA and their standard IPA are all very good beers and sold in cans around the area.

I would also add that their Grisette is very solid and around in cans. Had it for the first time this past week and enjoyed it quite a bit.

Absolutely agree. And the Grizette is fairly easy to find as well in bottle shops/stores in MD.
