4 new saisons are landing in stores Friday. All Brett conditioned.
Funky Galaxy and Merica will be mein. All mein. The new labels are cool as hell. Can't wait to drink them and put them on display on my "wall of beer"
Best new thread of the New Year!
Can't wait to try Gold and have kegs of Standard to buy
....We're getting kegs of PAA? Dude. I need one for my birthday in mid-April.
Pardon my ignorance but will they be in TX stores yet or just OK? I know you mentioned it in another thread but for some reason I though PA wouldn't be in TX for another month or two. This would be a great early surprise.
Just OK. You guys will get everything but Funky Galaxy (I need hops) starting next month. A new beer will land there every other month or so.
Fuck YES. I am so excited about these beers.
Regarding all things Prairie Ales....Have you sent any Noir to places in Stillwater? I've found Prairie Hop at Brown's and Prairie Ale at the Wine and Liquor Warehouse on 51, but no Noir and I REALLY wanna try some.
Standard was $8.50 a sixer when I had it purchased for me in OK. If it remains near that price point I may never be able to turn it down...or I can go wheeze the juice off Matt's keg.
Just Dallas, or everywhere? I've only tried a few PA beers, but they were excellent, and would love to have access to more.
I love Brett, bring on the funk! Sounds like the saisons will be here just in time for Spring, nice
How big are the batches? I know this stuff is gonna sell very well.
Who is this Matt character you speak of?
About 150 cases each for OK. 150 of each shipped else ware.
How many states are you in currently? A silver dollar if you can name them all on memory
MORE QUESTIONS! This may be a dumb one, but where in Tulsa (particularly on the south side) carry your stuff? My parents live in Tulsa, and I'd love to have them pick me up a few bottles of the new stuff coming!
I'd have them go to the Biergarten in Jenks. You should call and reserve some.
Biergarten Wine and Spirits has it for sure. They're in Jenks, OK, which is like a 21 minute drive. Not sure on the shop owner's name, but he has a very active facebook page, and is AWESOME to deal with. In fact, he's taking pre-orders right now.
Edit: Chase beat me to it.
If ur in South Tulsa, it's like 5 min drive. I'm from South Tulsa.
I'm just waiting for my Oklahoma buddy to ship me an allotment of the new beers and a few Prairie Noir's. Love me some Prairie Noir. I want to do a side-by-side comparision to BCBS. For science.
So excited about this coming to TX.
"BCBS is just cool because people think its cool"
It's my favorite beer. But I like alcohol
It's purely for science. BCBS is a great cold-winter-day-by-the-fire kinda beer for me, while Prairie Noir is a 24/7 drinkable beer that goes well with any day.
Edit: I'd also like to make BCBS cupcakes. It's one thing to drink beer, it's a whole nother game to cook with beer. I recently made Yorkshire Stingo beer ice cream. The range of flavors is impressive. Vanilla, an espresso-bite, raisins, malty, boozy (dat 9% ABV), and caramel.
Just my opinion and all but they are totally separate experiences in my mind.
Whereas I see drinking BCBS next to a fire after a cold day snowboarding or hunting or whatever..the important part is 'after'. I see Noir as a sausage and eggs breakfast beer of champions. Who needs FBS if you have Noir? Me and the lady enjoyed a nice half case for Saturday and Sunday brunch and I have to highly recommend doing the same.
I like to timeline my beer apparently.
Funny. You pretty much echo'd my sentiments in the post above yours

If anybody in Oklahoma picks up any (or all!) of the new Prairie ales this week and wants to trade, send me a BM.
Drinking a Ten Fidy. Responding slowly..you beat me
Ill drink BCBS Any day. That being said.... Id drink Noir any day as well.
Just traded for a Noir and a Prairie Ale. Really excited to try some Prairie stuff and hope they make it to TX sooner than later. I used to live in Tulsa and can't recall a single notable brewery at the time. Good to see Oklahoma stepping up with some great breweries...
When's the next bottle share? i'll bring 1 of each of the beers being released Friday
I can't remember where you are (and city names got wiped out), but Austin has one every 1st Sunday of the month.
I also sometimes forget that this isn't just a Texas forum
Yeah, the missing city names are driving my crazy.
All Brett Conditioned, eh?
Yeah, it will take a few weeks for it to start kicking up some serious flavors, but the other things going on in the beers make up for it for sure.
Yep. Its the only place I go now.
Also, really looking forward to trying the new stuff.
