Will there be a per person ticket limit to the number of Early Bird tickets that I can buy?

My friends and I had a great time in 2018 and we're already looking forward to 2019!

Any EBF Pros able to help me decide on sessions? I am going to come into town specifically for the Fest and want to do Friday and Saturday. Should I do #2 or #3 on Saturday? Will everything be gone by #3? Or do some places bring out new stuff only for #3?

It'll be posted in the Premium Member forum. There's already a thread in there, which will be updated with the code very soon.

The beer lineups are more or less the same of all sessions and we ask brewers to ration limited beers so there's some for each session. Session #2 always sells out first.

For those of you who haven't bought tickets yet, Session #2 is approaching 75% sold out. If you were planning on joining us on Sat, Feb 2 from 12 to 3:30PM now is the time to buy. And if you do so between now and the end of Cyber Monday (Mon, Nov 26) there are no ticket fees.

@Jason How does the government shutdown impact EBF? Mostly one-off beers that need to be shipped in

@Todd Looping you in here too. Any chance that EBF gets fucked by the shutdown if it persists though January?

As of right now, there's no indication that EBF will get fucked by the shutdown.

Not the most encouraging response for people that have to book travel and hotels ahead of time

The government shutdown isn't shutting down the fest, and we'll roll with any beer issues and make adjustments as need (like every fest). In the meantime, checkout the growing lineup.

The brewer and beer counts will go up and down until the lists are finalized. And especially now as we're working on the guide.

Not trying to be dense, but how would a federal government shutdown affect the festival? Is there a federal license?

Honest question. Our alcohol rules in Canada are largely provincially based not federal.

I booked my hotel & flight last July so I am coming to Boston regardless

Breweries can’t get labels approved for new beers while the government is closed. I don’t know how this works for one-off kegs being shipped into a fest, but on the surface it seems like it could be an issue.

Makes sense. Well good luck America!

I'm coming anyway, even if it means just sitting Trillium all weekend drinking beer with existing labels  My hotel is 57 metres, er sorry 190 feet from Trillium.

Regardless of the shutdown, we always get brewers who wait until the last minute (like a month or so before a fest)...only to discover that it's too late. Most take care of business well in advance of a release, because they know better.
