Probably, but I officially still don't hate that beer.

Haters on this thread. Selfish people on the "On tap in the..." thread. What's the world coming to?

I kind of like it

I bought a single can of F-Town IPA and hated it...something definitely off with this can. I didn't think I could find an IPA that I would drain pour, but I drain poured this one! I'll give 'em another try...maybe on tap next time.

This may have been mentioned above but went to South Fork and Lupine in Delano with the fam today... Lupine was okay but South Fork was the worst brewery I have ever been to (they were nice people, so don't mean to be offensive). Literally every beer tasted infected, the worst example being a sour, and not in a "craft-y" or purposeful way, kolsch. Anyways, visiting there drove home the subject of this thread.

    Infected sour? That's a first.

Sorry if I wasn't clear - the beer was not intended to be a sour, funky, or wild ale. It was described as a German style kolsch.

have heard that South Fork is bad. Would try the beers but multiple beer friends who don't know each other have said this....

I had a beer of theirs after a race they were at. It was not good.

I assume you're trolling but you certainly can get unintended bugs in sour beer and have those develop off flavors such as diacetyl (butter flavors). On the Sour Hour Podcast hosted by the guys from the Rare Barrel a few brewers such as Tomme Arthur and Trevor from De Garde mention that they dump out a huge percentage of their beer due to it not developing into what they are hoping for or developing off flavors. I think they mention as high as 30% going down the drain but it's been a while since I've given it a listen.
