I no longer use this so if anyone wants it, shoot me a message and you can have it. I will be very upfront about this: I did have some issues with it sealing at the bottom of my mash tun causing grains to clog up my spigots. I never did take time to try to form it in or anything so I made my own manifold instead. I would hate for someone to get this and then it not work properly without me telling you upfront. I only used it twice and it has no rust on it. Maybe you know how to get it to work better than I did? If so, it is yours.

I'm not familar with round coolers, but that looks a little small in diameter. I wonder if the grains got underneath the screen. If the center piece unscrews I'd flip-flop it so the weight of the grain holds the cup of the screen against the bottom of the mash tun. Again, I'm not really familar with this equipment.

What do you use for a mash ton now? I want to do 10 gallon batches and cannot do more than a 6% beer in the 10 gallon igloo.

For 10 gal I don't see any choice other than metal. I use the Stout Tanks MT and I like it. I got the underneath feed.

Thank that these are the major players that I know of.

And of course the keggle conversion

Oh, I got one of these to insulate it.

Still using a 10gallon Igloo. I was able to pull out a 10% stout awhile back but it was full to the brim. I won't be doing that again. Too scary. I just don't want to pony up the cash for a bigger system at the moment.

My max was a 14% wee heavy but only did 4 gallons. Biggest 5 gallon was my Adam which was 12.5%.
