    Currently drinking a 2012 Abyss because I personally find them best nearing a year.

    Planning on following up with a Barrel Aged Bigfoot and we'll see how I'm feeling from there.

    Congrats!

    Not married, not a father, never had to crack a beer for this occasion. Tonight I will crack an Oracle in celebration of not having had to celebrate to this point.

    Yeah man...just got the news on our first this afternoon. Gave a big hug to the Mrs. and dashed into the "cellar." I like where your head's at though...well played.

    Celebrated the birth of my daughter by drinking a lovingly cellared Magnum of Chimay Blue I bought the week we found out we were expecting.

    Mine was not beer but something a touch harder, we were not trying, but 11 years later my little girl is one of the best things to ever happen to me.

    I'm expecting my first in February. I've been contemplating which beer to drink as well lol. Probably a Westvleteren XII to celebrate.

    My wife and I are expecting in February as well. Shared a bottle of Bois with my brother-in-law who is also expecting. Bought a 2nd bottle to age and open whenever my 1st turns 21 (or when I decide to let her/him start drinking). Trying to hunt down a bottle of Rare for when he/she is born.

    Congrats Rob! Exciting times (although all I really wanted was a BJ).

    When I found out I was pregnant, I cracked a bottle of..... oh yeah.... right. 9 months dry, but it's worth it...

    The Answer to your question is Woodford Reserve. It may have been more steadying the nerves than celebrating.

    Tip: get her to breastfeed. Gives you a designated driver for a longer period of time.

    Congrats. I drank a WWS, a 6 pack of Oberon, the rest of the scotch I had and some Captain Morgan mixed with milk. I was out of coke.

    Well, not sure I'm qualified for this thread bc we dont want kids but I celebrated with a FW XV when I came home from my vasectomy. Might crack the XIV once I get final word that my boys aren't good!
