I'd have to go Tired Hands for variety, cans, bottles and overall quality as my local only brewery.

I love Firestone, Avery, Jackie O's and Alesmith, but I have to go with The Bruery. It's hard to beat the weekday series and Chocolate Rain.

Might be the best reasonably attainable line-up of amazing beers.

Creature Comforts is still it for me. I just spent a few months in the Northeast and had the opportunity to sample beers from all of the much-hyped breweries up there, but nothing as consistently good as Creature Comforts' beer up and down their product portfolio.

Stone. Many, many breweries to choose from, but Stone would have to be my favorite.

OFF TOPIC: I see a lot of Tree House fans. Any word on distribution for us not lucky enough to enjoy them?

Im from RI and that stuff is swill.
I give them a chance everytime they brew a new beer and I always regret it.

Which will be replaced by the "next cool brewery" in the next 12 months.

Not saying anything bad about their beers, just reality in regards to today's BA drinker.

Goin' local with both my favorites as well. Firstly it's Une Anne for their sours, I think that currently, they're brewing some of the best American Wild ales in Chicago. For everything else I go with Pipeworks! ^_^

What an awful thought! I'd still have to say Founders because it is good at so many styles. If it went out of business, then I'd switch to Weyerbacher.

    I'
I'm not so sure. I was at their 4th anniversary party, and they showcased their new sours and a ton of double shot variants. I was expecting a lot of hoppy stuff, but they busted out a huge selection of different beers. Sours were decent first attempts, I'd put them in the pretty good shelf sour beer category. But what got me was the double shot variants... most of them were absolutely stunning. Easily some of the best non-barrel aged stouts I've ever had (the coconut one was the best coconut beer I've had by a mile). I'm sure the tree house IPA craze will pass at some point, but Tree House's stout game has been quiet good, and other than good morning, don't get much credit. If they start do more stouts, then I think they'll earn a more permanent place. The other thing being, I feel like I'll never get tired of drinking julius.... I usually bring their hops as extras in case we run out of beer at bottle shares, and I'm consistently reminded of just how damn good they are.

Since I'm from PA, and this brewery started my love affair with Belgians, I have to say Weyerbacher, but Troegs is a close second for their solid lineup of year-round offerings and special releases. They actually might be tied for first since they offer different specialties and are equally significant in my craft beer journey.

The answer is also positive thinking in the past. When there was Bock and the O Fest. I do like the new beers in the lovecraft series alot, honey ale, i am providence, the chocolate porter. I dont particularly like the Lager but the seasonals and lovecraft series if they were always available it would be an option.

Speaking of resent id choose River Horse. Great seasonals and no frills staples like the unfiltered lager amd the red ale (RV Special Ale) especially for the new Pils, IPA and saison so its pretty much the rest of my life would be...

    Unfiltered amber lager
    Red Ale
    Tripel
    Czech Pils
    IPA

    Seasonal...
    Blonde
    Belgian Dark
    Pumpkin
    Farmhouse
    Chocolate porter

    Im good to go

Over the past year or two it has to be Modern Times. Their year rounders are great (Blazing World, Black House, and Orderville are some of the few beers that I purchase regularly), amazing seasonals (City of the Sun, Booming Rollers, Guava Passionfruit Fruitlands), and they have special releases every month.

Staying local its a very tough choice between Kane and Magnify but if I had to pick one I'd have to say Kane. Both have great IPA's but Kane's dark beers are the difference - though Magnify's Saison is excellent.

A toss up between Founders and Bells, but I'll go with Bells because I've yet to be disappointed by any of their styles. I don't care for Azacca or Rubaeus from Founders. It's a long list of very consistent beers that I've from Bells: 30th Anniversary, Expedition Stout, Oarsman, Hopsolution, Quinannan Falls, Two Hearted, Hopslam, Hell Hath No Fury, Black Note, The Oracle, Saturn.

Firestone Walker is right up there, but I might have to go with Bottle Logic. Their barrel aging program is pretty killer. Honorable mention to Tree House, I just prefer darker beers to their mainly hoppy lineup.
