I like it too but it's kinda like Gertrude Stein said about Oakland--"There's no there, there." (I think I'm just not gonna ever get session IPA's, I'm afraid)

Just might have to visit this place, but I'm not happy with the slowing down/stopping on 70 near Glenwood Springs area.

    Cheers!

Yeah... I mean... up here at altitude, when I'm grilling, I like to drink more than one or two beers. I love big 10%ers and all... but when it's summer and I'm outside, I can crush that sweet delicious 16oz can over and over and over and over. Definitely the tastiest of the sessions.

But... back to Colorado... anybody been to Cannonball Creek in Golden? I had a rep tell me today that they've currently got one of the best IPAs he's ever had in his life. Gonna check it out this weekend.

Would definitely recommend Cannonball Creek. Just went there last week and was very impressed. I hope they start bottling soon. As far as project alpha #4 goes, definitely a solid beer but I personally think it's a worse version of superpower IPA from comrade. And their mindbender IPA is underrated. Highly recommend.

Project Alpha is my favorite CO IPA easily. Makes me miss this small brewery in Iowa that makes IPA's.

    I'll pm you on that.

What was the so-called problem? Was it more greatness coming this way?

As a slight correction, Station 26 will actually be canning their single hops IPAs on a rotating basis, and not just the citra version. Citra just happens to be the one they will be starting with. If you look at the cans in the photo below, you will notice that label reads, "Single Hop IPA" while the box has the more specific designation of "Citra IPA" instead. This was done so they can use the same cans for the whole series, and just reprint different boxes as needed, which is much more cost effective. (Note that I did not just notice this detail on my own, it came from a conversation with owner Justin Baccary last month.)
