Citraholic is tasty, but with boss tweed sitting next to it I'm regretting my decision to grab beechwood.

I see Something Brewery is dropping cans all over CO now. My initial impressions is that they are trying to make beer like Weldwerks and everything so far has fallen a bit short.

Haze and Juice was decent but not quite at that level yet. Would love to hear other impressions of Something's beers.

Citra Whimsy from 4 Noses tastes like Julius. Gonna buy a bunch.

That is a bold statement. I hope you are right- I might have to find out for myself, for research purposes.

Dry Dock's new hazy IPA, Deep Diver, is now available. Their earlier revisions of this one (Speed Demon) were really good. I still need to try it, but I have a feeling it's going to be really good.

Also on the hazy front, Epic's Chasing Ghosts is (AFAIK) their first hazy double dry hopped DIPA. It's pretty fantastic with no chalkiness or vegetation going on. I generally don't like those huge hazy bombs, but this one is really good. It's supposed to be out in 22's pretty soon, but it's on tap in the tasting room right now.

I thought Haze & Juice was more than solid and at my local about $3 or $4 cheaper for a 4 pack than Juicy Bits. I think you're right that they're looking to Weldwerks for their styles--mostly NE IPAs and pastries from what I've seen--but IMO they're worth trying, and I've opted for Haze & Juice over Juicy Bits a couple of times because of the price. Maybe not at Weldwerks level yet, but I'm interested to see what they do and will definitely keep buying their stuff. I'm not super into pastries, but my gf is, and I thought the ones we tried from them were pretty darn good also.

I hate the bomber format but sounds good enough to try, if I can get it fresh. Epic continues to be a brewery that makes good stuff- I'll never count them out.

It’s probably been many years since I’ve pimped a Crooked Stave beer but those Mosaic Sabro cans they released at the taproom this week are fantastic. They say NE style but they have enough bitterness and really aren’t cloudy. CS knows how to dry hop.

Currently drinking a Comrade Superpower and when I take into account consistency, I've got to say it might be my favorite Colorado IPA. This current batch seems fresh, because the hops are popping like I haven't had before. It taste like it has grapefruit puree in it. This taste more like grapefruit than pretty much every "grapefruit IPA" I've had.

This and Cannonball Creek Mindbender consistently are badass beers.

The Odd 13, Cannonball and Odyssey collaboration Pale Ale, “3 Superheroes Walk Into A Brewery” is fantastic. Drinking on tap at Cannonball and taking a 6pk home.

Taproom only release I assume? I’ll keep my open for them but probably not making it to the brewery anytime soon.

Yes; I would assume all 3 breweries are selling it.

Anyone had “Bout Effin Time” by 4 Noses yet? I thought it was delightful but I’ve been on a WC kick and it really scratched that itch. Liked it a lot more than “Hammer Chain” and it’s in the lead for my favorite CO IPA/IIPA this year.

    Bout Effin Time is delicious.

    I forgot Odyssey even existed.

Also, the Outer Range/Bearded Iris collab is very, very good IMO. Very curious/excited about the new River North DIPA. Its name escapes me at the moment but I believe it's being canned very soon.

Just curious - anyone know of any IPA's from (or simply sold in) CO that use Wai-Iti hops? Kook from Outer Range has some, but I think that might be the only beer I've seen that specifically mentions them. Anyone know of more? One that's using a majority would be especially appreciated.

I picked up a single of this at King Soopers, I thought it was pretty meh. It may have been too old though.
