Definitely gGood to know, re: Scale Tipper. Bosque has been underwhelming for so far, outside of their Baltic Porter, but half of what I have tried from them has been their regular lineup offerings. Perhaps that explains it.

And definitely agree about the lack of any kind of pilot system from ABQ breweries. Biggest disappointment about the ABQ scene for sure.

    Codename Superfan 2.0 is great

Renegade Elevation E3-if you looking for something strong, well balanced IMHO also.

its been too long since I've been in, but I seem to remember, and it makes sense because every thing they brew is red, that Black Shirt has a nice red DIPA. And a pretty darn good India Red Ale, better at the brewery than canned IMO.

Just checked the website, the DIPA is with blood orange, I had either forgotten that or it's new.

It's easy to forget about Black Shirt, but I like their stuff. I dig on their maltier items like the "normal" red and the red porter.

I've had that DIPA with blood orange. It's excellent.

Agreed on the blood orange. BSB is my wife's favorite brewery in town so we are there pretty frequently. Their 4 "member only" taps can be very good as well.

Yup, forgot about Black Shirt, they do have a few really good hoppy reds. I'd like to buy their cans more, if they would start dating them

So I'm drinking the superfan 2.0 against the OG version and have to say I prefer the OG.,.. For me 2.0 gives off the sweaty onion taste way more thAn 1.0 ( which I don't get any). what's everyone else think?

I have not had 1.0, but I just cracked a 2.0 and I agree that there is some onion lurking. Its not a bad beer, but not really my style.

Glad I'm not completely crazy. Decent beer but a step back from 1.0 imo

I just opened 2.0 (my first) after a long stressful day looking for BCBS (*kidding* first world problem!) -- I really am enjoying this! To me it's a bit more citrusy than 1.0 and I don't get any onion ... if 1.0 and 2.0 were on the shelf together, I'd buy a 6er of each and not give a damn which of the two I was drinking, but just be euphoric that I was sitting in my house drinking a killer NE-style IPA brewed by a helluva great crew at Odd13!

I live in Minnesota so I dont have access to all the awesome breweries in Colorado but I got my hands on a 4 pack of Avery's Raja and I'm loving it. Crushed a 4 pack while going through a few stouts I've been aging and I think its one of the best DIPAs I've had. The cans I got are 2 months old, wonder if its possible that it is even better fresh...

Read a few pages back to the posts about Raja. My 4 pack was wonderful, no semblance of alcohol or "heat".

Sounds like Station 26 is the place to hit up next tiem I'm in town. Last 2 times I was in Denver in the past year, Comrade has been closed for some reason. So next time I'm visiting, my plan is to call them ahead of time and let them know that I'm a big F***ing deal.

The buyer I order with hasn't wanted to bring in Chinook yet. Let him know people are looking for it!
