What is everyone's favorite Green Flash beer? I'd say mine is PALATE WRECKER for the tongue numbing bitterness. Any votes for double stout, hop head red or west coast IPA?

I'll put one up for Double Stout. The Imperial IPA makes the grade also.

I am a big fan of Green Flash and would buy it more often if there were fresh bottles on the shelf.
They have a great line up from top to bottom. I think they get over looked too often.

Silva Stout and Palate Wrecker are definitely my top 2.

Palate Wrecker, Imperial, West Coast, Le Freak, Silva Stout and Hop Head Red - all good. But Sleeping with Shaggy was the best. :grinning:

From their regular lineup, East Village Pilsner. Of all time, Silva.

Love love love love love Green Flash. Hop Head Red is favorite, followed closely by West Coast IPA. In the colder months, I like the Double Stout. Wife likes East Village Pilsner I think it is.

I too, have a hard time finding fresh bottles on the shelves in Central Illinois and also often at places in Chicago, most the IPAs from Green Flash I find up in Chicago are about 3-4 months old or older. Some Hop Head Red's I've seen are from 2012. Thumbs down.

it's definitely hard to find fresh on the shelf here. i was surprised to find the west coast ipa only a couple weeks old recently and it was really, really awesome. forgot how much i liked that beer when fresh.

Le Freak is my favorite! Do they make it anymore? Ship it to the East coast! The Imperial is great too.
Palate Wrecker not so good, way over extracted hops... Hop extraction whats the point?
It's like hot pepper extract who wants to ingest pure heat at like 16,000 heat units?

Silva Stout is probably the best Bourbon Barrel Stout I've ever had. I do love Citra Session and Palate Wrecker, but I enjoy West Coast IPA when I see it on draft (which is regular).
