"Finally, a Beer as Glorious as Kim-Jong Un Himself" (Taedonggang Beer)

Insta-Whale!! Has to be the hardest beer to obtain.

I'll offer up a case of HT and 6 bottles of Double Sunshine for a 6pk of Taedonggang.

 

I just bought some. I don't want to get "purged".

 

Infomercial needs more, "whoosh!," sound effects.

 

It looked like Taedonggang was brewing up seven styles of beer? The infomercial seemed interesting enough. It would have been better, of course, if I could SPEAK KOREAN!

 

All the guys tasting the beer in the ad did so at gunpoint. Afterwards, they were executed for having the gall to think themselves worthy of drinking a beer only fit for the supreme leader.

 

I must have them.

 

I watched the video because this post, I'm disappointed!

How the hell is a North Korean beer making it into South Korea? By way of China?

 

If their rocket science advancement is as recent as their version of video editing software, I think we're in fine shape.

It's for sale at stops nearby the dmz for peanuts A nice tick, but is a pretty lousy adjunct.

 

Roughly translated, as my Korean is very rudimentary:

*Made from the water of the Taedonggang (Taedong river).
*Satisfies labourers.
*Since 2010 Taedonggang has been the most popular beer in North Korea.
*Taedonggang is is the best beer in North Korea.
*Our brewery is modern, clean and safe, and ready to mass-produce.
*Our beer tastes "clean" and "soft".

 

Oh, also that it has a "unique flavour".

 

They sure chug the shit out of beer in Korea...
