Thanks for the recommendations. I'll probably be in the mood for a greasy, but delicious breakfast so it looks like Touch of Paso, Joe's, or Cowgirl will be great. For dinner, my preference is somewhere within walking distance to the festival grounds, but a cab to the right place will be fine as well. New American/Californian or Mexican are fine and I'm more likely to pick a place that's reasonably priced. A quick yelp search yielded the following restaurants:

Thomas Hill Organics
Restaurant 4 Hermanos
Robert's
Rean Kaew
Jaffa Cafe
Habanero's
Hunter Ranch Grille

Any input on the above?

finding a cab in paso is like finding a 100 dollar bill in pants you havent wore in months. Not likely. Of that list I would reccomend Roberts but its pricey. Hunter ranch golf course is out off the 46 east highway but they have great food and an outstanding buffet on Sunday mornings. berryhill bistro is in the downtown area along with roberts, estrella, villa creek, Lombardi's And maybe 20 others.. Downtown is your best bet for dinner, call way ahead for a cab and get into downtown paso and u'll find something worth your while.

 

We will be at Roberts on Friday night for dinner. Playing it by ear on Sat.
