No same price. I don't know if they did a mini-release to up the hype, or for people to buy them as Christmas/Hanukkah gifts or what.

Last year the ticket price stayed the same, which i believe was 65 bucks but keep in mind firestone will start promoting this years event at some point here locally andtickets will go fast once that starts happening. I ended up paying 95 last years off of criagslist because i waited way too long.

Thought it was a noon release. That PM/AM should be posted in FUCKING bold...or I should stop drinking so much beer that they look the same.

I just got my room at the adelaide. They said that they are filling up quickly so you might wanna book your room soon. They don't have prices as of yet but said that they should be around the prices of last year which was $125 for a two queens.

Not sure of this. I bought two pre-sale last year and one at the general release. I am pretty sure the pre-sale where $10-15 cheaper. Not looking at my credit card statement here but I'm almost certain. (Again why I thought the lack of a price difference for pre-sale versus general sales a bit odd and something I would have liked to know before buying my tickets during Christmas shopping season.) Still very much looking forward to the best beer festival out there.

Secured four tickets. Looking forward to another excellent year shared with three of my favorite people on Earth.

Got my 2 (that night, just finally getting around to posting here)

Also, it does not seem all that clear to me (yet at least) if pre-sale tickets are cheaper then general release, at least this time. However, as for the fest this year, for a fact, the pre-sale tickets last time were $10 cheaper then the general release. I know, since my entire tasting group paid $50 (plus fees/tax or whatever, came out to $55) while I paid $60 ($65 after taxes/fees) & was kicking myself for missing my reminders for it that time, so I didn't make the same mistake twice.

FWIW Firestone is still promoting the price of 75 plus fees on their site. And I do not recall any price hikes last year, but then again I don't remember them doing this pre-pre-sale thing with two separate releases.

Not sure what you mean by a "pre-pre-sale thing". They did a presale about a month before the general release last year. This year it was earlier but the same. Definitely a price difference last year in the pre sale versus general release.

Pretty sure this just means that those of us who got the "pre-pre-sale" tickets this year get "front of the line/fast pass" tickets for every booth and thus don't have to wait in line for anything.

It is on their facebook. www.facebook.com/FirestoneBeerFest I would type up the list but I'm headed to work, the first 3 I saw are Cigar City, Funkwerks, and Birrificio Italiano.

Noticed Founders dropped out. Wonder if it had to do with the embarrassment of seeing all the 3 Floyds lines.

I know that they're part of In-Bev but I would love to see Goose Island replace Founders...I could only imagine what RARE beer they would pour knowing what3 Floyds poured last year...

    Cheers!

I heard that wasn't actually Founders, just a distributor. Which is why they brought Centennial IPA and Curmudgeon instead of anything even remotely sought after.

this shit is invite only for brewers, i doubt firestone invited them knowing they were gonna have distributors poor middle of the road beers!

If that was the case I imagine they weren't invited back. The point of this event was for the people to be able to talk to the brewers. They are mostly friends with Matt B from Firestone and the event is like a birthday party for him.
