The fest is held at the Paso Fairgrounds. The brewery is open normal hours the day of the fest...as well as on Sunday

Anyone knows why SARA is not at the event?

At best, you're going to see a lot of stragglers hung over stopping by the tasting room/brew pub that day as they hit the road. Last year it was pretty hectic in there.

Yeah, but last year they released a new collab beer the day after. Which, almost certainly accounted for the big crowds since everyone had a reason to stop in before leaving town.

I wonder if they'll release anything special again this year?

Stickee Monkee should be out soon. As well as Helldorado....

They weren't last year either. Wasn't the SARA beer that was available a collab with some other brewery who was present?

I've been there to get last minute bottles before heading home and its usually business as normal. Slightly higher crowds in the Visitors Center & Taproom. If there's anything special on tap, the Visitor's Center would be the place to find it. As far as the Brewery Store in the back, it'll definitely be picked clean of anything special like Barrelworks bottles or boxed bottles.

Twitter feed states they're gonna start leaking beers that will be pouring.

Also, the Collab beer is international...

    Hmmmm...

...and Lost Abbey. Other than that it's insane. SP, Parabajava, Beat, CBS, BA DL, Citra. Need. Asap.

Lost Abbey always rolls weak. Jester King will have bottles though.

Instead we get the better Alchemist IPAs.

I was thinking Stone will do the same (especially after Bruery anniversary), but they actually surprised me with their lineup.

As far as the IPAs go, I know Citra being better for sure...but other than that I can't really see anything I know that would be on that level. Any suggestions from the not-so-well-known breweries? (not that I can't just drink Citra all day, any day :stuck_out_tongue:)

I know Surly isn't an "obscure" brewery by any means, but my MN buddy urged me to get some of the Todd the Axe Man. He compared it to HF and TH juicy IPAs. Also, WW Menage-a-Freak is super balanced and drinkable for an 11%

Per comments on the FB post, the app should get released tomorrow as well as the announcement of the collab. Can't wait. So many great beers announced and who knows what we'll get surprised with? Will there be an un-official BA meet up at a certain place? I suggest KRBC tent.

They had a British beer company at the last BWX Liberation. I forget the name, but I'd say they're a strong contender.

KRBC is an awful place to plan to meet up just as an FYI since it will have a huge line. Besides, better to roam and meet up at the Bottle Shares on Friday.

Now, I wonder what the timed tappings will be. If there are multiple BA DL, I can't imagine them all getting tapped at once. There's also too much good in the Side Project and Rare Barrel booths for everything to be available the whole time.
