I bought a bottle of 2012 a week for 3 weeks at a small shop near me.

Week #4 I went in and the last 3 were still sitting there. I said screw it and bought them all. Its an amazing beer and certainly worthy of all the praise it gets

Last year's Sucaba is drinking wonderfully right now, indeed. XV has also really come into its own for someone like me who prefers a non-hoppy American strong. Yum.

I'm pretty new around here, but If your willing to trade with a first timer I'd like to setup a trade. Let me see how many of the bottles of Sucaba I can get my hands. What's on the top of your FW wish list?

Asked about a release date for this at the Total Wine in Northridge, CA and was told it should be either at the store or being shipped to the store on February 11. Just a heads up to LA area people.

Yeah, I noticed when I was in California that all of Firestone's Proprietor's Reserve series go for $22-25 but I buy them here in Tucson, AZ for $14. ******ed.

Whole Foods has Abacus and Parabola at $14.99 whenever they're out. Only the gougers have it for more.

Anniversary is the only one that is set in the $20+ range.

If this is around next weekend in Chicago, is there going to be a mad dash for it or do I stand a chance of being able to go into a store and pick one up?

It'll most likely be a mad dash once it hits and people know about it. I haven't seen this just sitting around on shelves.

Does that mean you have a confirmed sighting in AZ?

FYI... I just ran over to Total Wine at Warner and I10 to snag a BA Bigfoot and asked when they were getting Sucaba, they are expecting it around the 20th.

If its anything like Abyss, we'll see if 2 weeks after its hit San Jose/Livermore and you'll really have to hunt to find one.
