Overrated? I'm surprised. Everyone I know talks about how shitty they are. Yes, a lot of their beers are mediocre at best. Some of them are even shitty. But they brew some limited releases that, actually, are among my favorite beers ever.

When I visited ATL, there were lots of bars (including a few at the airport) dedicating a good number of their taps to SA. I got to try SA imperial stout, white, porter, on tap and they were all meh.

I still haven't tried Utopia though.

Im seeing a trend with mine and a lot of other people. They seem to make better flavored or fruit or dark beers than wheat or ipa's. Maybe they sould stick to their lagers, souts and flavored stuff.
  36. RickS95

    RickS95 Poo-Bah (1,837) Mar 19, 2004 Indiana

I completely agree with this, but most people I know don't drink their limited release stuff because they don't want to pay $10 for one of their collection beers. And while I think a Boston Lager tastes like ass, I'm sure it's not too bad if you're used to "exotics" like Corona. But generally speaking, I'm not a fan. Plus, I hate when Koch is in the commercials. There's something weird about him.
