Forbidden Root (2018)

Stopped there Friday while in town for a wedding, really a great place. The food was killer and every beer we had was awesome. Ghost Tropic was spot on, can't wait to try the cans we brought home. Frame and Canvas was great and was a favorite among our group. The rye mild with the cheese plate was amazing together, a surprising highlight. Overall a great time, looking forward to visiting again.

 

any word on the limit for four packs tomorrow? hoping to come in after i get off work tomorrow and grab dinner, beers, and some four packs.

It was at 11! But no rush light crowd so far, plenty of seats available, and they have a ton of cans available for sale both from the growler fill area and bar. Having a Snoochies on draft right now and damn if @KrajDoesBeer and @NikNikNik didnt crush it again. Going to be an expensive lunch haha.

 

Grabbed 2 4pks of SB and a growler of SHAMMS.

Just came from lunch. This batch great as all the others, little more dark and turbid for those that enjoy that

 

Also had major label maple. Was very smooth and smelled tons of maple but tasted amaretto/almond/cherry? I wasn’t mad at it

 

I’ve so out of the loop lately. Anyone know if if any/which cans are currently available to go?

 

Hey guys been crazy last few weeks with traveling, Fobab, thanksgiving! Appreciate everyone that has been coming by and for the great words about FR!

Snoochie- in stock- plenty of cases.. made it an easy release yesterday while half of you were on Marcey st for hours ! This batch has some tweaks just to always push our beers and see whta best. 11 more lbs in the Dry Hop than last batch! Shhhhh. We don’t care to have batch #s etc.. just want to make the best hops we can for y’all!

Also SB was the highest yield and we kept plenty for draft that should last 3-4 weeks so ppl can in and get pours for a while!

We didn’t get a planned day for the share yet so I’ll look at my calendar later and see what dates work in second week of Dec!

didn't have the last batch, but this round of snoochie is great. color and look is on-point, definitely get more of a citrus juice vibe from it than the first canning run. loving it.

 

Was in last night for dinner, got snoochie cans, and had the new snoochie on draft. Man, I thought Ghost Tropic was my favorite, and now I'm back to Snoochie being my favorite. This batch is even better than the last batch in my opinion. Really, really good, just incredible. Can't wait to crack open some of the cans later today.

 

Think there will be Snooch cans left tomorrow night?

Is Fernetic a beer that might fair well with some time on it or best to drink fresh?
