Fort George 3-way IPA

Got ya. No idea why they don't can or bottle. Mac & Jacks is right behind them in barrels produced and they don't bottle either.

 

I always forget just how big Mac and Jacks and Georgetown are when those "largest state output" lists get released.

 

Can I also mention Georgetown Eddie, possibly the best entry into the IRL category? Mosaic/Calypso dank tropical bomb.

 

When does 3 Way come out?

 

I hear they are in beta test right now. I've seen beta ipa 8.0, 8.1 and 8.2 on that other iPhone app app... Cough ... Un****ed. There are some fort George events during the week of CBC in portland mid April where some test batches will be pouring. Distribution started mid June last year.

 

I'm drinking my second Breakside IPA in as many days. Anyone else think it's pretty similar to last year's 3-Way?

 

It's lacking the super clean malt bill and Mosaic notes of 3-Way 2014. Stellar IPA, though.

 

I had a breakside IPA Friday night and thought the same thing, just minus the mosaic. So odd you brought that up ...
