Belgium in a Box has Fou Foune 2013...but it is part of a 6 bottle package deal only. All told, it'd be $343 shipped to the US for the package. Too rich for my blood.

Another BA did the math and if you did the order, it would come out to ~$66/bottle for the Fou' Foune, Mamouche and Lou Pepe Kriek before shipping.. $82 each after shipping. That's with the normal BiaB prices for the other bottles in that package. This guy is way beyond price gouging when you consider Fou' Foune was 7.80€ ($10.50) each at the brewery. No thanks.

I saw the other 3 listed for sale, and you're absolutely right. Given the prices on the other 3 bottles, they're really taking you to the cleaners for the 3 fall releases. Ouch.

Haha. I just know that there are enough people who are still going to buy it all out and justify the guy's price gouging.

That's the truth. Realistically someone could have flipped a BVDL on craigslist for the same price and turned it into 6 Cantillon. If only that were me.

Yeah I buy stuff from there occasionally, and that was just too steep for my blood. I've really been disappointed with the bundling techniques used by the Belgian sellers on the more desirable releases. I don't want to have to buy 5 bottles of shelf Loon to get one bottle of St Lam or Fou Foune. It's a cheesy tactic to move old stock that has become an issue almost solely because Jean and Armand have such a negative stance towards these guys and they're no longer able to buy the limited stuff in adequate quantity.

Just a year ago you could pretty easily obtain 4-6 bottles of Fou Foune every season and put together boxes of 3-4 LP series and 3-4 St Lam a few times per year.

As of Friday Oct 18, limit was still six bottles of Fou' Foune. And on Thursday afternoon, they were labeling more bottles. I have no clue how much is left, but I know you can still purchase a box of six to go as of 48 hours ago.

I was at the brewery yesterday and they still were doing 6 Fou Foune, 6 Mamouche and 3 LP which I bought along with others. I spent enough money that I got a sample of Zwanze 12 and 13.

Is 50N4E still on tap at Cantillon? Do you guys think Fou Foune and it will still be available end of November first week of Dec? We're flying in 11/30 leaving 12/08.

6 Fou'Foune per customer still available as of today, 7.80 euros per or 43.20 for 6, as well as the Granc Cru Bruscella lambic (7/39), classic kriek (6.50/37.20), Mamouche (8.50/49) and bio gueuze (5.20/27.60). Rose de Gambrinus only in 37.5cl bottles (4.20 or 46.80 for 12). Lou Pepe sold out during the afternoon. The grape ones were sold out as of when I arrived in afternoon. In case Smurf2055 wasn't clear, 50N4E is one per customer at the bar, I'm forgetting if the price was 15 or 18 euros. (I'm not sure they're that fastidious about making sure the cork is pulled on site, ahem.)

What do you mean with the grape ones? Is st. lamvinus already sold out? didnt even know it was released.

St. Lamvinus and Vigneronne both showed on the board as sold out. I have no idea what the releases schedule -- you can imagine a fall release because that's when grapes are in the grocers, but obviously they've been macerating and then bottle conditioning for a while.

Good news, thanks. At the bar, or the takeaway/box area? I forgot to check at the bar to see if I could snag one there. But this just shows, I should've asked if/when they'd have more ready to let go.

    As of yesterday.

Take away options (excluding the regular shelf stuff)-

2013 Fou Foune- 6 bottle limit
2011 LP Kriek- 3 bottle limit
    2013 Mamouche- sold out
50N4E- 1 bottle limit. Not listed on the menu.

Drink onsite menu had all of the above, 2013 and 2012 Zwanze, 2010 LP Framboise, 2012 St Lamvinus, Grand Cru Bruocsella.....and plenty of other stuff I can't remember. I should have taken a picture of the bar menu.

2013 St Lamvinus was bottled end of last month so will be available at some point in the near future.
