Where is everyone finding this at? Just in the Meijer's around Grand Rapids? I've called Founders themselves and they don't even have it in bottles. I've called a couple stores around me and they don't even have it in yet and aren't sure when they'll get it in or if they'll get it in. This sounds like some rare beer that Founders just doesn't even care about cause they are only sending it to certain stores and aren't even making it in bottles to be sold at their brewery

 

I'm pretty sure there is not gonna be anything rare about this beer if you're in MI. Holiday, 8* and Champanes all got it in metro Detroit today, and if Meijer is advertising it in their circular, it's not likely something that's going to be a real limited run.

 

Picked some up yesterday at the Meijer in Ypsilanti. There were only a couple six packs on the shelf, but I'm sure they had more---seems like it won't be very limited to me.

 

This beer is not going to be rare or hard to come by in Michigan. Just give it time to hit the shelves and you'll see it everywhere.

 

For anyone looking for this beer on the east side of Michigan I'd suggest looking Thursday or Friday. I called several stores by me including Meijers and they didn't have it

 

I just found a six pack at meijer last night. Well it was a good purchase.

 

I purchased mine at Meijer in North Muskegon 2 days ago, but it is worth noting that it was not in the beer aisle, it was merchandised on an endcap a couple aisles down from the beer aisle.

 

Meijer in Southfield has it. Definitely in SE MI already.

 

Grabbed a sixer from Meijer in Mason today. Looked like they had some cold at one point but were out. Ended up finding a couple six packs on an end cap like somebody already mentioned. They can't get cold soon enough!

 

I bought some because it's Founders, but I've never had a black IPA I truly enjoyed. It's not a favorite style for me.

 

Just walked into a Meijers here in Grand Rapids and its the FIRST thing you see when you walk in the store. Big shipment must have come in today. Picked up 2 six packs to go with the one I picked up yesterday, which at the time yesterday was the last six pack. Was on sale $2 off today at 7.99 a six pack.

 

Thanks wezzul that's the Meijer I ended up going to and I got a few 6 packs. At 8$ a 6 pack it's impossible to not buy at least a 6 pack just to try it.

 

Wow, this is really good. The fruit in the nose is unbelievable, really citrusy smelling. For $8, this is a must buy, and I'll certainly be going back for more.

 

I'm pretty sure this is only 8$ at Meijer's though. Founders in a press release said they are selling it for 10$, other stores may price gouge as well

 

I bought a 6 today at the Meijer in Northville off Haggerty. Like mentioned above it was on an end cap. Their's was in the beer isle but it was not marked and just sitting there in Founder's boxes. They had 3 1/2 cases sitting there.

That's true, other prices in the area are ranging between $9-11 from what I've seen. But, since Meijer will have it at that price the rest of the week (and likely in stock), time to grab a few more sixers.
