If it shows up here I'll certainly buy it.

Isn't that the company that owns around 30% of Founders?

Not a wheat fan, so this isn't of interest. If they are going to can a one off lager, I'd love to see the return of Dissenter in cans for a season.

They've had it on tap in the taproom in the past. It was decent, but I was kind of surprised they picked it to go national with as they've had much better taproom exclusives.

I guess we're not supposed to think of them as their minority owners since they're "pals"...
Yeah, pretty lousy journalism - basically just a re-write of Founder's own Press Release announcing the beer:
    New Beer Release: Trigo

So if some other company owns a minority share of your company the employees of the two companies are not supposed to fraternize and be friends with each other?

I'll certainly give it a try.

The workers at both breweries can have all the different sorts of relationships they want (dependent on the brewers' sexual harassment rules) - but it is the newspaper's job to mention that, besides the employees all being "pals", Mahou San Miguel owns 30% of Founders - a fact that probably contributed more to the collaboration that those cross-Atlantic friendships.

I picked up a sixer of this and glad that I did, enjoy it quite a bit.
