Thanks for the info guys!
The closest grocery to my house, Greenlake Village PCC, sells singles of each version regularly. The little Parks Pharmacy by me also regularly sells HFoD.
The two Safeways two FredMeyers two QFCs closest to me never get anything special. Just the usual shelf turds. Things are a little different where I live. Correction: the FM near here had Abyss once a couple of years ago. -sigh
Hello! I will be visiting Seattle next week and saw that Rusty Nail was being released Saturday. Is this something that will sell out at the brewery day of? Unfortunately I do not arrive until Saturday night but would love to pick up a bottle
You’ll probably be ok if you go Sunday.
Last year it was prolific once it hit general distribution-for a while. I’ll show up at the bar on Saturday for the party am in no hurry to grab bottles
I panicked last year and didn’t need to.
Portland is different... any news on when its coming here?
Likewise. Picked up bottles at the UBG and in the wild down in PDX. All told, I think I picked up half a case and could easily have gotten more if I had wanted to.
How far have we come? Strolled in about 1:00 picked up my 4 bottles of Rusty, enjoyed a full pour glass,Said hello to Craig, left. No standing in line for four hours and worrying if they will run out before I get to the front. Just a normal Saturday.
BTW - It's good, just drink it warm, they serve it too cold. I don't know how it compares to last year. Will have to do a side-by--side.
Thanks for the update Larry. This is music to my ears. Hopefully, it will be just as easy to come by this year in pdx as well.
Soooop.... It's been almost a week since the RN release. Anyone spot any bottles in pdx yet?
Arch Bridge posted on Facebook that they have bottles and draft.
Tin Bucket posted that they had some.
Thanks. I figured they would have some as well, but wasn't sure if it had been distributed in PDX yet.
Ben's Bottle Shop has it both in Bottles and on Draft
Heard MoC has some as well, too bad that one by you shut their doors.
Thanks. I'm good at this point. Was able to get my fill at Tin Bucket and Beermongers. Even Belmont Station still had plenty available on Sunday.
Looks like PDX is well supplied with RN this year.
The MoC in Cedar Hills(or is it Mills?) was all out yesterday, which surprised me. I'll have to check on ABV and the Whole Foods in Tanasbourne next.
I know it's a bit of a haul for you Dyan, but if you can wait till the weekend, Beermongers has a LOT of RN right now. No credit card upcharge for the beer either.
New Seasons in NW by Breakside Slabtown had some as of yesterday.
