I definitely appreciate @afrokaze coming in and saying something, but I don't think it was necessary as Wanderlust has been around for a LONG time and that specific label over a year. These days Fresh Hop beers are pretty easy to identify and if you aren't sure, just spend a 30 seconds to confirm by searching online.

Good or bad, fresh hops bring us together.

Yeah, mea culpa for hearing about a “Fresh Hop Wanderlust” beer and not instinctively knowing a label that contains all of those words was not that beer. What do I know, I read highly technical content for a living, so to me accuracy in language is important.

Carry on folks, nothing to see here

Forgot to mention Stoup will be releasing FH Citra and FH El Dorado. I think Friday and Monday? Don't quote me on that one.

ish just got real: Reuben's has just released FH Double Crush (tallboy four-packs) and for the first time ever, FH Triple Crush (crowlers). These are available in their online store now, but the former should see distribution to the usual haunts. If you like Citra, have at it!

Well, as long as I ordered a 4-pack of FH Double Crush and have to drive over to Ballard to pick it up, I figured I might as well also order a 4-pack of FH Harvest the Void at Holy Mountain. So now 14 FH beers this season if I'm counting correctly.

Too bad the double/triple crushes didn't come out yesterday...don't think I can swing another trip up that direction two days in a row. If it's still around next week when FH HFoD is released, I might be hitting Reuben's again, too...

Anyone aware of any likelihood of Bale Breaker getting anything out west here?

Because I detest hazies , it's certainly limiting the number of fresh hop beers I'm trying these days...there's no way I'm ever going to approach @distantmantra's 75 from last year and it might even limit me to something like the 14 you've accumulated thus far...man, I really wish I could stomach those hazies...

But on the bright side, you can look in the mirror every morning and see a man with integrity and good taste looking back at you

I’m having a harder and harder time looking at myself in the mirror at all lately. Being home almost all the time now (sweatpants = formal attire), coupled with all these great fresh hop beers, has been rough on more than my credit card...

I've currently had 10 fresh hops. Since I'm only drinking on the weekends and not drinking anywhere but home due to the pandemic (ie. no potential shot at flights or most draft only FH beers unless I get a crowler), my goal is to hit 25 uniques. I'm ok with that.

Bale Breaker said they'll send over Citra Slicker and one other canned FH to the Seattle area starting 9/31.

I am sad that there are no opportunities for out of region fresh hop beers, though.

Last year I had a Fresh Hop IPA made by Monyo while on vacation in Budapest, and the year before that I had a Fresh Hop Pilsner from Tamamura Honten while in Tokyo.

The guy at the local bottle shop in Yanaka Ginza said this was also a fresh hop, but I've never been able to figure out for sure that it really was.

We were going to go to Copenhagen this November, but that ain't happening.

It doesn’t say. I can read it.

Totally forgot. I also had a FH Golden by Baird at their Nakameguro Taproom.

Cloudburst posted on IG that they're getting Citra Slicker this Saturday.

And 9/31??? Did they fuck with the calendars to make 2020 even longer? Ugh.

If it makes you feel better, I was at my local yoke’s in the TC. I was checking to see if any F2F showed up. Nope, but I did see 4 pack cans of this beer. First time seeing this. I picked it up and read the five fresh NW hops. So, I had an internal debate. Decided it wasn’t fresh hopped. Probably should have grabbed it, but was looking for fresh hop and I already had a sixer of Bale Breaker’s Pilsner in my hand for science purposes.

Sounds like what you had was the FH Wanderlust. I don’t think I’ve seen any Breakside FH beers yet. Must be looking in wrong places.
