    The wife and I will be stepping out shortly to celebrate our anniversary at Higgins tonight... But it's Friday after all, and I figured that Barley Brown fresh hop Mitch isn't going to drink itself (over at NW Growlers). So am having a wee glass of it now. It's not quite in the same league as the fh pallet jack, but is still a tasty, easy to enjoy pale ale. Nice fh character as well, and eminently drinkable. Very nice start to the weekend.

    I have several fresh hop's on the plate for the weekend, but just wanted to update my list before I did so. Finally landed some Cowiche, Citra Slacker, and Fresh Hop Fuzz.

    While this list is kind of in order of preference, it's probably worth stressing that nearly everything I've had this season has been good. The bottom, maybe 5, were not bad beers, just not great fresh hop beers.

    Cheers to you and your wife. My wife’s grandma told us on our wedding day, “don’t let the honeymoon end.” I was never sure if she was being “dirty” or not. Tough bird to figure out. Regardless, good advice me thinks.

    Knock back a K-Poww FH ImpIPA, a collab between Old Schoolhouse and Skookum. Nice, but there's a mustiness in the hops that I get sometimes, and the varieties aren't listed on the label.

    Fremont has an experimental noble hop FH Pilsner available in cans at the UBG. Not for distribution.

    I'm thinking this may be my last fresh hop beer of the 2020 season*: Hoku Welowelo Fresh Hop IPA from Pono Brewing:

    It has fresh Comet hops, was canned on 9/29, and (as @beertunes might say) it isn't bad for a murkbomb.

    (* Of course, if I do run across any more FH beers, best believe I'll tick 'em.)

    I'll one-up @vurt ; I too haz new FH in my glass: Boundary Bay Forager Pale, made with Idaho 7 hops. Just went on tap a couple hours ago.

    In a surprising, maybe even shocking, turn of events, I haz yet uno mas El Fresca Hoppa! This time Aslan Charlie Foxtrot. Is OK, a "try-it-if-you-see-it-but-don't-run-out-and-hunt-for-it" type of beer.

    My friend gave me this can of Sabro from Crux yesterday. It's not great. It's also canned just over a month ago, so it may not be fair to judge it.

    It's not bad, though. I'm enjoying it.

    Second tonight. Sunriver D'kine. As others have said..very good Mosiac FH.
    Not in my top 5. But near
    Preferred the Wild Ride Triumphant..that is now in my top 5.

    I think I've drunk more FH beers in 2020 than any prior year. Tonight, in between pours from my crowler of Pallet Jack, its the Deschutes Chasin Freshies. The hop character is wild, though not necessarily what I'd call fresh hops. Tasty!
