Had the FH Pale at Migration with lunch. No info on the hops but I'd guess Chinook or Cascade. Definitely plenty of aroma and hop oil/resin, but also a little too green/grass for my taste. Still well done, wish I had more time to try the other FH stuff they had on tap.

I think HFUFH is here in Spokane. The can I drank was courtesy of @kemoarps though, so I could be wrong.

I'm a rare poster, but felt the need to log in and recommend Pint Size's fresh hopped Keep It Together. Its more on the hazy/fruity end of the spectrum but oh wow, bursting with a silly amount of flavor....my favorite of the year hands down (although I've probably only had like ~10 fresh hop beers this year). Anyways I highly recommend it for anyone in Seattle.

Guessing the cans sold out on Saturday? Every once in a while they'll send some cans out to distro, but guessing this won't be one of them.

A PDX friend who is NOT into beer is driving down to Eugene this week. If I ask them to make 1 stop to pick up some FH beers for me, thoughts on the best spot with a decent selection of cans and/or crowlers? Ideally 1) close to I-5, 2) open weekdays, and 3) allow for online ordering.

Level beer looks like a solid bet and from this thread it seems like folks have liked their FH stuff thus far. John's Multnomah also seems good although no online ordering there. Other options welcome!

You might try Uptown Market, assuming it meets your definition of "close to I-5.". It's roughly a mile or so from John's.

    Good luck!

Johns and Level are right next to each other in Multnomah village. I think beer deliveries typically happen Tues/Wed which is prime time to grab FH goodies.

Capitol HWY deli/market also has a great beer selection and is only a mile from I-5

I've been in Colorado for a few weeks, gone from Washington since late September. Not the best time of year to leave the PNW, if you're a fresh hop fan. I did manage to get a couple of cans of F2F before I left. Now I'm down here in SW Colorado (Durango), and I just found a four pack of Cowiche, one stray can of F2F, and even a "Wet Hop" beer from maybe my favorite Colorado brewery, Elevation. It's "Hop Kid". Elevation says the hops go in the kettle in four hours from harvest. That's the right attitude.

So I'm feeling like I just hit the lottery.

Well I think my wet hop season is over, been busy and forgot to check for a couple weeks but just looked at ghost town and saw that green fiend (wet hop mosaic ipa) is up but out of stock. Bummed I missed it. Super weak year for wet hop beers in my market. Definitely need to make a trek north in the future to gather some bounty

I love Ghost Town and tried green fiend the first night it was tapped. Nice IPA but I didn't get much FH character from it so don't kick yourself for missing it. Still holding out for the debut FH from Wondrous this week...

Thought Green Fiend actually was much better out of the can than on tap. That’s not often the case for me. Still don’t necessarily need to kick yourself, though.

I did pick up from the brewery this past Sat but not sure if they sold out. It still appears to be available via the website assuming its updated in real-time (or close to), so perhaps an order now can be picked up this upcoming Saturday?

Wondrous tapped their first FH, Heemspliff Harvest today. "6.8% IPA wet-hopped with Citra, Mosaic, & Azacca"
Not sure if they're canning this one but it's up for growler fill

Thank you! I’ll plan to stop in on Friday if it’s still around.

Over in The Bruery thread I posted that I tried their Strata FH DIPA and the Amarillo FH and neither really did it for me. The Strata DIPA was an enjoyable beer but just tasted like a regular DIPA, no FH character. Amarillo by Morning, which I really liked last year, ended up tasting really raw and unrefined.

    No, not at all.

I just love to see fresh hop cans where the date stamp is the same as the date I'm drinking them.

    LOVE that.

As mentioned over in the NWWBAYDN thread, I'm starting my day with an Ecstasy of Pink from Single Hill, in collab with Pink Boots society. It contains a couple new hops, HDHA 218, and Idaho Gem. I didn't much care for the Idaho Gem FH that Wander put out this season, and it's not making me do my happy dance of joy in this beer either. I strongly suspect that YMMV.

Another FH brew for breakfast, per Diem pale from Single Hill. Here's where it gets confusing, from the label: "Fresh hop Pale with wet Loral from Loftus Ranches and fresh dried HBC 1019 from Haas Yakima Golding Farms." Is it wet, fresh, dried, or what?

Cynical me sees it as an attempt to muddy up the waters in order to be able to pass off old hops as fresh in the future. Logical me agrees with cynical me on this one.

Now, a FH brew from Ohio, Hoppin' Frog Fresh Frog Raw Hop ImpIPA, courtesy @Ozzylizard So, it's an Imperial, at under 8%. OK. It's "Raw" hopped. OK. I swear these brewers are trying to give me an aneurysm.

It's got a solid malt backbone, and a nice blast of citrus hops. Nice beer.

No fucking idea. I also have no idea where they sourced the hops. Some small local place? FedEx em in from Yakima? Freshly swept up off the floor of the warehouse?

I think more breweries are getting hops overnighted. Seems like there was a lot of wet hop beers out of Ohio this year, I'm guessing fathead arranged for a plane load and got other breweries to buy in

Yeah, and Hoppin' Frog is a decent brewery themselves. I'm for more breweries from around the country getting on the train (or, if you will, the plane).

I tried fresh hop beers from Masthead (Ohio) and The Brewing Projekt (Wisconsin) last year. Neither beer did much for me, but I'm glad I checked 'em out.
