Just made its way to my local bottle shop. For around 10 bucks a bomber, I'm planning on buying quite a few for the cellar to see how it ages!

Didn't know this was going to be bottled.

Good amount available for distribution? Is it being bottled locally or by the contract brewers?

I believe locally, similar bottle to the libertine. Also it's really really good this year.

Thanks guys. Was at a Haskells in the burbs on Thursday and didn't see it with the other Fulton Beers. Could just be a little slower getting there.

Well, seeing as how St. Paul is a suburb of Minneapolis, I just noticed it at my local (and I feel for our fellow BeerAdvocates in Owatonna, Faribault, Rochester...)

Some day there'll be High Speed rail from here to there and a drinking car loaded with stuff from Cities breweries! 'Til then I'd bet them thar' Rochester wholesalers are chompin' at the bit...

They've been talking about the rail for a while. Sure would be nice.

Ive seen this around a number of places. Its pains me that ten bucks for a 750ml seems affordable.

I wont pay it for this..but if they ever bottle War and Peace..hmmm. Just cements the fact that every stout is made better by the addition of coffee!

Well, considering the fact that I see a lot of itty-bitty mom n' pop shops in the Cities that are starting to stock some of these new, local releases at $10+/bomber or $17.99/750, $9.99 indeed seems affordable! :astonished:

I like how people are saying that $10 a bomber is affordable. Stupid large bottle formats. I won't be buying any of it. It's a good beer, but it can't beat expedition stout (taste or cost).

$10 for a truly delicious RIS don't mind if I do.

Expo is tough to beat. I had a bottle from '05 the other day that was mighty fine.

Also, i would tend to agree with the 'stupid large bottle formats' comment. But hey, if Im a brewery, im going to put some product in em as they seem to sell just fine for many.

I earlier said it was well priced for the format. $10 for a 750 is now reasonable for a RIS. I would much rather have a sixer myself for convenience and pricing. The reality is many breweries are putting out similar beers for twice the price or a lesser beer for the same price.
