    Hi all,

My girlfriend is down that way this week for vacation and is willing to pick some beers up for me. Does Funky Buddha do any growlers or bottles at the moment? Or any way at all to get some beer from down there to Pittsburgh? Never had anything from them.

    Cheers

No, still no bottles or growlers. Their new brewery in Oakland Park should be open soon though,so some items may be available by this summer.

    Kegs included

Already has me contemplating the long ass drive from S.C. to pick one or 3 up.

Be on the lookout for when they tap their stuff in Philly. They do quite often. They're worth the drive for sure.

    That's quite the drive.

I live about 3-3 1/2 hours from the brewpub depending on traffic and while I don't go just to try a single beer I have gone to their anniversary party and other special events. So if you're willing to make the long drive I honestly think an FB tap takeover would be worth it.

That's true and probably worth it, but Philly is north of 6 hours from me

Damn, well as someone who lived most of his life in PA, that's my dumbass assumption of the day haha. Hadn't gone out to Pittsburgh since I was a kid and forgot how long the drive was (family of Giants fans, therefore hated the Eagles, moved to PA at 5, Steelers were the other team I could see every Sunday--not a bandwagon fan, just to clarify haha). That being said, if they do a weekend tap takeover and you have someone you can crash with for the night, def. worth the drive.
