On my phone with other hand holding a beer so I can't spell words backward plus I am not smart enough Malt and Vine has them and limit 3.
So they made just as many cases of this as DDBA or Sucaba (and Parabola). Is there just less coming to us? I'm slightly confused how some of these sit around and some are bottle limits.
Ddba sits around because people don't like it as much. Parabola went fast this year (at least compared to the previous year) and seemed like there was less to go around (just my perception, not based on facts). I assume sucaba can still be found at a few places because it has a funny name (well, and in general it seems barrel aged stouts get more love than barley wines).
Which is crazy. And yeah I'm familiar with the differences in popularity but it seems like if there was as much Merkin as there are cases of DDBA everywhere it wouldn't be as big a deal to get some.
