I still come across the 9.3oz (or something like that) corked bottles, esp. 2000 and 2005. I SWEAR, however, about 3-4 years ago when I was up visiting Founders Brewery in Grand Rapids, that I saw a 500 ml, brown glass pop-top version, bottled um...wherever it's being bottled now, since Gale's is no more. Was it possibly taken over by Fullers, I can't remember. At any rate, I would REALLY like to try a newer (i.e. non-oxidized, completely flat) version of this beer. Does anyone ever see the crown-top bottles around regularly, and if so, are they vintage dated? I'd really like to try this!

Brewed by Fuller's, labels clearly dated with year.

Can't help you with finding one, but now that I think about it I haven't seen recent year vintages in the last few years. The old Gales corked version was imported by B. United (and they apparently have them in stock- or at least some of their distributors do). The Fuller's was from Distinguished Brands originally, now handled by Paulaner USA (DB's successor). So, local distribution might be handled by two different wholesalers.
